  1. Mine were on the rolling chassis off eBay.
  2. Well here it's is gang. Embraced the black as the original body was badly painted so I just fixed it up ready for the vintage decals. Ended up finding this awesome condition chassis and original shocks. It's not mint but it's a very acceptable vintage display car...and all original. I know this body is a little ugly, but it's also very unique and it's almost so ugly that it's cool. Think of it as the Dustin Hoffman Tamiya buggy. and yes, someone will point out the missing bumper screw I'm sure 😂😂😂
  3. Great tip! Thanks everyone
  4. Thanks, it looked hot, but sadly has gone to another home!
  5. They sit in the box with the wig. They may make a return.
  6. Ok well, my OCD kicked in. It's all rock and roll now. New mounts, shocks, uprights, technigold and kitted out with a Adspec ESC receiver setup. It looks clean but I just flogged it in the dirt. So good, a true vintage runner this will be.
  7. Agree, anyone can build from a kit. Only true die hards can pull off a resurrection!
  8. Hi Gang, whats the best method for repairing cracks and splits in vintage lexan? Lots of mine have cracks at the common stress points like the nose where you have to force it on an off.
  9. Oh, I gotta paint my tyres!
  10. Ahhhhh, I thought in the previous message that 1st meant Hotshot and 2nd was referring to a HS2! I'm such a rookie. yes have two, a runner and a shelfy. Both in reasonable nick. Here's my shelfy that has the orginal arms. Need the reres for my runner.
  11. Well they don't fit my Hotshot II, it appears that the shock support makes the spacing slightly wider. So these arms won't fit. So that leads me to think other than original HS2 arms ($$$) there is no aftermarket alternative?
  12. Thoughts on the silver instead of white??
  13. Ok, not blowing me away but needs some adjustments.
  14. Epic build. Went with my RZ in the end. Stuck with the chain too.
  15. Surely not, they were a cheap eBay purchase from memory. Can't recall why I bought them, could search my history on eBay I guess.
  16. Hi all, can anyone identify these parts? Re-release Hotshot arms perhaps? Was hoping they might fit my hotshot2 runner on the rear but have not seen these with the two circle holes on a HS2 before? Anyone know what they are off and if they will fit?
  17. I've gone yellow to black so maybe I can give that a go.
  18. Am I right that I'll need to swap the blue shocks with red ones? Are the red shocks off any other rig that I can source?
  19. I don't think the saint dragon shell is the same fit as the Thunder or Firedragon shells? Of at least that was my understanding. By complete fluke I just found a madcap for $50 so I'll post some pics soon. Missing a rear wheel though.
  20. Hi guys, picked up a saint dragon body shell and decall sheet. I know this fits a madcap but they are pretty expensive and getting quite rare. Any other options? I'd like to stick this body on a buggy for the shelf.
  21. Sweet! It now can be laid to rest....
  22. My first ever Team Associated purchase. I had a moment of weakness and couldn't resist the custom colour scheme. Shame on me...question is do I give it a run???
  23. Here you go Wandy, I've done the best I can with these shots. Are these what you are after? Thoughts? Also, are we happy with the pairing with this Techniplus radio gear?
  24. Thoughts on the belt or chain drive? I'll probably try both but as a runner assuming the belt is the way to go and that the chain is nostalgic only???
  25. Car was purchased in the Netherlands so that would all make sense.
