Have you seen the Junfac / Gmade wheel wideners that use Barrel nuts - Fusion sell them - infact I have bought them for my 3 speed build J51032 13mm offset & J51033 19mm offset.

Why should I have a 4WD Front One-Way Diff Unit
gizard replied to bjorklo's topic in General discussions
I have one for the TT-02 chassis and have stopped using it - because as mentioned it makes the car spin very easily under braking - to be fair I have only used it on a buggy (TT-02B) not tried it on the TT-02R or TT-02 Type S I have - The R is currently setup for Rally so I imagine it will be just as troublesome as the TT-02B is with it. I think it is probably best with a very well setup chassis on a good grippy surface - something I don't use.... -
Must admit the XV-01 Pro Rally does look like the better option - Although I do like the idea of the Modular MF-01x - 959 Paris-Dakar ReRe anyone?
-
Just out of curiosity why has no one mentioned an MF-01X or is that blasphemous ?! I have a TT0-2R with the Lancia HF shell and a fair few hopups it's quite good fun but I wondered if an MF-01x chassis with the Yeah Racing Long span kit might be good?

Ahh excellent thanks SPDT was the terminology (what does it stand for btw SinglePoleDualTerminal - guess?). Anyway with 10 mins of searching found 10 on ebay here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283086009221 thanks very much for the pointer G.

Hi all - Just trying to fix one of my children's remote control cars - Fireman Sam Engine (my younger has just had his 3rd birthday and is over joyed with the GF-01 Toyota Pickup that I have slowed down for him! but for inside they still do use more basic RC toys!) Anyway see the picture it is the inside of the controller which is a steering wheel and uses a weight to control the 3 position 2 pol switch - in the picture you can see the lever part has snapped off the central pole - I am trying to find where I can get a suitable replacement from - looked at Farnell / RS and ebay etc. - I suspect that I am not using the right search terms - can anyone point me in the right direction for a suitable replacement switch? cheers G.

Cheaper Receiver for the Core-RC Code Multi-Model
gizard replied to JWeston's topic in All things electric...
Certainly the 3 channel model are few and far between, but that said I have managed to by another Tamco TAC330 TX with RX today from Sussex Model center - had there last one - I rang them up when I saw it on their website and low and behold the chap on the line went of to check and - yes they had 1 left - now the website says not available so hopefully I should have it soon. I am also waiting on an empty shell and a couple of receivers from another source - The aerial molding on the transmitter has been broken too many times by my son and no amount of araldite will fix it - so hopefully I will have a new case soon. -
Buggy Universals with TG10/WR02 long axles?
gizard replied to ThunderDragonCy's topic in General discussions
Hmm yes I posted something about this a while back - I bought some GPM equivalents and tried to combine them and it didn't work - if I recall it was the shape of the wider part of the axle - but the Tamiya ones might work together - although that doesn't answer your question about buying each part separately sorry!- 1 reply

I am still expirencing the issue - again this morning - reset main site password - works initially but as soon as I close the browser - either Chrome or Edge when I go back to the main site it just doesn't login - as if I have entered an incorrect password, I thought it might be edge but chrome seems to be affected in the same way - no other site has the same issues and even the forum site is fine.... getting a little frustrating

Ah no did not realise he did one, I have already got the junfac one.

Looked at the RC4WD options and although some look really nice they are very pricy...

Maybe these would be okay or perhaps too wide for the titus wheels? https://www.modelsport.co.uk/pro-line-trencher-t-2-2-all-terrain-truck-tyres/rc-car-products/395738

Think I have just realised that the above wheels and tyres will not work, the inside bead is 3.0" whereas the outside is 2.2"

Hi Matt, thanks for the info. I hear what you are saying, I already have a CR-01 which I am sure is a better crawler etc. This Highlift is for fun and complexity etc. Got the kit now lots of nice little bits and bobs, BUT the wheels look really shocking! So to that end I am considering a set off Proline Titus 2.2 beadlocks with Proline BF Goodrich Baja tyres is there any reason why these will not fit together? I will check with model sport before I order but any comments appreciated https://www.modelsport.co.uk/pro-line-titus-2-2-bead-loc-wheels-for-1-10-scale-12mm-crawler-hex-2-w-o-weights-black-black/rc-car-products/372594 https://www.modelsport.co.uk/pro-line-bfgoodrich-baja-t-a-kr2-sc-2-2-3-0-m2-medium-tyres/rc-car-products/403160

My Blitzer wheels appear to be buckled - although the Schumacher tyres appear to be as well - I have balanced them with weights etc. in the past - but I probably need to do it again. I will pull the tyres off and reheck to see if they appear buckled without tyres - but I have a set of the yellow stadium blitzer wheels too with the same tyres and they too appear buckled....

No one used him at all??? I saw some mention of him in an old post - just like to get an idea if I should be send €300+ euros in a bank transfer......
-

-
Hi sorry I have been meaning to do this, but I have been doing silly hours at work and not got around to it! But I am wfh tomorrow so will try to remember then 🙂 I guess with the right drill bit and some patience one could be made. Thanks G.

Has anyone bought stuff from getriebedoktor, he seems to only accept bank transfer or PayPal but with a hefty 4.8% charge for pp.?

Thanks Topforce - I will measure the diameter of the circle on my remote - it's a Flysky FS-i6 that I plan on using which I have modded to 10 Channels and with an 8ch rx I have means I have 3 two way switches and 1 three way switch for lights, noise, difflocks and perhaps 4ws. Thanks Shodog - are you saying no sympathy is required to shift gears - IE you can change gear whilst at full throttle? - I'm sure I would have some mechanical sympathy with it - but when either of my small boys get hold of it there would be none!!! hence the shift gate would stop them doing that!
-
Oh does anyone know where I could get a generic shift plate that might fit my Stick remote for a 3 speed?
