  1. Certainly the 3 channel model are few and far between, but that said I have managed to by another Tamco TAC330 TX with RX today from Sussex Model center - had there last one - I rang them up when I saw it on their website and low and behold the chap on the line went of to check and - yes they had 1 left - now the website says not available so hopefully I should have it soon. I am also waiting on an empty shell and a couple of receivers from another source - The aerial molding on the transmitter has been broken too many times by my son and no amount of araldite will fix it - so hopefully I will have a new case soon.
  2. Hmm yes I posted something about this a while back - I bought some GPM equivalents and tried to combine them and it didn't work - if I recall it was the shape of the wider part of the axle - but the Tamiya ones might work together - although that doesn't answer your question about buying each part separately sorry!
  3. I am still expirencing the issue - again this morning - reset main site password - works initially but as soon as I close the browser - either Chrome or Edge when I go back to the main site it just doesn't login - as if I have entered an incorrect password, I thought it might be edge but chrome seems to be affected in the same way - no other site has the same issues and even the forum site is fine.... getting a little frustrating
  4. Ah no did not realise he did one, I have already got the junfac one.
  5. Looked at the RC4WD options and although some look really nice they are very pricy...
  6. Maybe these would be okay or perhaps too wide for the titus wheels? https://www.modelsport.co.uk/pro-line-trencher-t-2-2-all-terrain-truck-tyres/rc-car-products/395738
  7. Think I have just realised that the above wheels and tyres will not work, the inside bead is 3.0" whereas the outside is 2.2"
  8. Hi Matt, thanks for the info. I hear what you are saying, I already have a CR-01 which I am sure is a better crawler etc. This Highlift is for fun and complexity etc. Got the kit now lots of nice little bits and bobs, BUT the wheels look really shocking! So to that end I am considering a set off Proline Titus 2.2 beadlocks with Proline BF Goodrich Baja tyres is there any reason why these will not fit together? I will check with model sport before I order but any comments appreciated https://www.modelsport.co.uk/pro-line-titus-2-2-bead-loc-wheels-for-1-10-scale-12mm-crawler-hex-2-w-o-weights-black-black/rc-car-products/372594 https://www.modelsport.co.uk/pro-line-bfgoodrich-baja-t-a-kr2-sc-2-2-3-0-m2-medium-tyres/rc-car-products/403160
  9. My Blitzer wheels appear to be buckled - although the Schumacher tyres appear to be as well - I have balanced them with weights etc. in the past - but I probably need to do it again. I will pull the tyres off and reheck to see if they appear buckled without tyres - but I have a set of the yellow stadium blitzer wheels too with the same tyres and they too appear buckled....
  10. Great thanks - It'll probably end up being embarrassingly simple on my end - but I'm sure I have exhausted a fair few options
  11. Every time I come back to the main site I have to sign in again - bit it refuses to recognise my password and just asks me to sign in again - so I reset my password and I can then sign again bit if I go away the same thing happens - and in order sign in I have to reset the password again.. I have tried a different browser and even PC but to no avail - I am using my email address on the main site - login on the forums works fine every time. can any one help? thanks G.
  12. No one used him at all??? I saw some mention of him in an old post - just like to get an idea if I should be send €300+ euros in a bank transfer......
  13. oh okay didn't realise that makes sense though....
  14. Hi sorry I have been meaning to do this, but I have been doing silly hours at work and not got around to it! But I am wfh tomorrow so will try to remember then 🙂 I guess with the right drill bit and some patience one could be made. Thanks G.
  15. Has anyone bought stuff from getriebedoktor, he seems to only accept bank transfer or PayPal but with a hefty 4.8% charge for pp.?
  16. Thanks Topforce - I will measure the diameter of the circle on my remote - it's a Flysky FS-i6 that I plan on using which I have modded to 10 Channels and with an 8ch rx I have means I have 3 two way switches and 1 three way switch for lights, noise, difflocks and perhaps 4ws. Thanks Shodog - are you saying no sympathy is required to shift gears - IE you can change gear whilst at full throttle? - I'm sure I would have some mechanical sympathy with it - but when either of my small boys get hold of it there would be none!!! hence the shift gate would stop them doing that!
  17. Oh does anyone know where I could get a generic shift plate that might fit my Stick remote for a 3 speed?
  18. Hi thanks for the response - is the one in the picture running the 4-link then I can't tell + what wheels and tyres? thanks
  19. I guess the Gmade Zero shock would be good - 94 or 104mm though?
  20. Hi All, Okay well finally ordered the Tundra from TImetunnel Now onto the Junfac kit. J10028 JunFac 4-Link suspension conversion J44221 JunFac Steering kit (1 inc.above) J90024 JunFac Hardened Uni shafts GE-J51032 JunFac ALU wheel spacer (13 mm, red) I think I have decided to go 4WS just for the added complexity hence the above extra Steering kit. What I have not worked out yet is the suspension - I assume you cannot use the leaf springs once upgraded to the 4-Link (it would be pointless have the 4-link then!). I have seen these mentioned as in upgrade for the 3-speeds: GE-GM20501 Gmade ALU shock G-TRANSITION (4 PCs., red) 80mm but I assume this is while they are still running the leafs as there are no springs- Can anyone suggest what shock spring combination is a good match for the 4-Link upgrade?
  21. I think I am going mad - seems my login is not working again on the main site ?????? help again
  22. thanks very much for the info. I already have the cr-01 version and thinking of getting the GF-01 version for one of my sons, and both of the like having lights, so custom buckets it is. thanks again for checking. cheers G.
  23. can anyone tell if the light buckets from either the cr-01 or cc-01 Land Cruiser 40 series body shell will fit the gf-01 shortened Land Cruiser 40 series body shell?
