  1. I hope you gained some time here on earth. But with all the sightings the last days in NA maybe there were aliens involved. :-D
  2. 40th anniversary was in 2016 and 45th in 2021. So when you have been 40 in 2016 you should have been 45 in 2021. Or are you some kind of time traveler? Marty is it you? :-)
  3. I know what you mean. Heroquest wasn't that popular in my area when I was a child so I didn't know this game. But I like the system and I heard that the rules are not so diffucult so kids can play it. I would like to play it with my kids. I wanted to buy the original but most offers in good condition without expansion packs have price between 200-270€. I think for the kids the new artwork and miniatures are no problem. For me too because I never played the original one. I have heard that retail for Europe could maybe start in 2022.
  4. Today the Hasbro crowdfunding for the dungeon crawler revival of HeroQuest started. I took a look at the count down everyday the last week just to find out that there is no possibility to join if you live outside the US. As I am from Austria I was not able to order. To see what's about: HeroQuest So maybe one of the US fellows can help me with this. KR Paul
  5. Thanks to @Madcaper for the great help this beauty arrived some days ago. So one to build and one to keep NIB.
  6. I wanted to write that you can use the Desert Fielder body because it's the same as the HMR body, but I can't find it in the shops. Are they gone too? I hope there will come a rere of the HMR and the King Cab.
  7. Yes I opened all the boxes which are not shrinked. But they are still NIB. I want to build the GT2, one of the 934 RSR 30th and the 935 when the time comes.
  8. See what arrived today. And it's in good company.
  9. Or even the CSL version. Love this car. Had one in Titan silver.
  10. I come from lower Austria and started with a Lunchbox in the 80s. Came back to RC in 2013 due to a christmas present (Schnitzer M3) from my wife and since then the building queue is growing constantly.
  11. What do you use to protect yourself against the dust of carbon and fibre? Just a filter? Do you wet everything while grinding and cutting? I started to glue a 1mm and a 1.5mm ABS plate, but I think it bends too much. I am also thinking about an aluminium plate.
  12. Sorry have a second chassis waiting to be restored and if the first one works, I will do the second one the same way. But in the bay you can sometimes find a treasure.
  13. Hmm. The casings were used so maybe they were stressed too much during the last years. But the parts for the HMR are hard to find and I don't want to trash a new pair. For me the next step will be the SC10 RS. I already have two of them sitting on my desk waiting for installation. But other projects are more interesting at the moment. Not sure what material I should use for the bottom plate. Don't want to mess around with carbon fibre.
  14. Do you mean the stock silver can or the super stock BZ/RZ? I sanded the casings, polished the plates and used the TA black diff grease. But after a few runs with the super stock BZ the casings were bent. So I don't think it's a sanding or grease problem when you use a hotter motor. The 3D printed alternative sounds interesting.
  15. You are right. But it's always a question of the usage of the car. If you want a nearly original car you have to get the ttc which is really hard to find and normally very expensive. If you want to drive the HMR sometimes you need something with a higher availability. I think for the SC10 transmission you need two small extra holes in the chassis what is a smaller problem than the weakness of the front of the chassis. But there are several threads according this topic so maybe you can find some satisfying solution.
