Finally, after a long time I was able to continue my project. In this step I dedicated myself to painting and assembled tires. First step removing the chrome plating with Tamiya's paint remover from wheels After preparing the wheels with primer we move on to paint with the Tamiya Lacquer colors, to get the correct color I mixed the Flat Aluminum and small quantity of Gun Metal Now I can assemble the tires and wheels and install them on the model, rear and front no bad, I hope new updates soon... Good question, the lower chassis is made with carbon plate 2,5mm thick, but I also fear that a reinforcement is necessary between the battery box and the front gearbox. When I have completed the carbon plates for the battery box I will evaluate how to make the reinforce. thanks

Juls1 thanks for your comments. The rear gearbox is already connected to the battery holder. I will need to connect the front gearbox to the battery holder, but I' will do it when the final lower chassis is ready, I have different options to connect them. Hello guys, today I have time to continued my 037 project. I start to assemble the tires and make the first test of body installation. As tires I utilize the radial Tamiya with original rims. The wheelbase seems ok. The front width is perfect even turning. I have to check the wheels because in the turning they touch the lower arms. I will check it in the second time. The rear axle is too tight for the 037, to widen the track I replace the Wheel axles with the "Long Wheel axle" type (50808) and the wheel hub. Now also the rear track is perfect. New update in a short time, I hope...

Small progress today: Plate of support for speed controller and booster done: (sorry for poor quality of picture) Speed controller installed and I fix the supporto to the plate. Test fitting to chassis: Ok also replacing the battery seems not too complicated. Next step...

I started preparing the motor. I have a old Carson 12T brushless engine. It works well but its design I do not like completely. I decided to make some changes to the case of motor. His technical features and performances have not changed. I think that a 12T motor is ok for my proget. Test of installation of motor Now my question is: paint the case of motor or keep raw metal?
