So gar things are going well, My kid is doing the bulk of the assembly with the old man stepping in when asked of as a plastic tree nub slicer. However we have one prob. THE LOWER ARM, F3, is not loose. ITs very tight and i have rebuilt it 3 times. Anyone have a thought?

Guys(and gals) Im 46, the best thing about tamiya is we can afford to do the builds, see something u like........BOOM, its shipped. I never had a lipo setup, guess what, on its way. Never had a "modern" buggy, guess what have 5. our age makes this way more fun now.Oh and i can stay up all night now without getting yelled at.

So i have a gearbox issue that i cannot seem to work out. I have this issue in two cars, db01 with slipper and dn01 with slipper. i cant seem to get the pinions to mesh with the gearbox properly. theres definatly something i am missing. First id assume its the incorrect pinion, but i am using what i think is 48p 19t pinion. Both the cars have a very loud whine that happens when i accelerate. Second, Perhaps i am missing something when assembling the gear box itself. Third, perhaps i am not installing the slippers correctly but that shouldnt effect the gear mesh. I will be diving into fixing the dn01 today. Any advise or tips or problem solving would be greatly thankful as i reallly want to get this sorted out. it seems also that the slipper shaft is not snug to the idler gear. it wobbles arund in there an i can move it enough to makr the pinion not fit on thr spur

My daughter is 11, shes been driving her pink metallic tt02b neo scorcher for years and loves it. So do i actually. handles well, fast, 4 wheel drive so it goes on the grass. solid car, no issues. -

step 15 is a nightmare. the spacers for the front end dont work, Its now 6:14 am, I am completly thrown by step 15. The spacers on the front end with the screw assignments dont add up.

On step 13, the BB13 locknut is alum blue, I spent ten min looking for it as i was looking for chrome.
