Servos and controller coming Thursday. Receivers came yesterday. Cars are 90% done that I’ve done since this all began. But. Of course now I’ve gone and bought lipos , charger and connectors. And let’s not forget the blue brat that’s in its way as well as a DN01 kit I bought from a. Member in the U.K. over the weekend. Hmm. This is getting interesting.

The esc doesn’t have battery connectors. So I need to put a connector on the esc to power the car. @burakol

So i messed up buying brushless. i am running MAH batts. Took me a minute to realize that there was no way to connect the battrey . any help on lowes or home depot electrical aisl to hook the battery up?

Ive spent more money on kits to build. We here in the USA are dealing with a high level of the corona. I'm on the North East corridor so we are getting hit hard. Anyway, we have been shut down for a month, kids are basically not going back to school til september. Cant say im upset to be forced home, only wish i could get hobby supplies as online is really slow I've been waiting for servos for a month. Have three kits coming that i have to deal with, one came yesterday, two next week. two of those are for my boys, each, to build together with me. But, ive got a reciever problem. As i cant get them delivered. @Butler Our liquer stores are open. haha

So as i have come back to the hobby after alot of years. i now need to understand LIPO can you all please explain to me what to buy to run a few brushless cars to get the most out of them?

Can i just cut the wires and grab conections from lowes electric isle?

I've had this issue for years. Gonna throw it out there. If the spline one the 3004 futaba servo is not centered for the Tamiya horn then how do I center the servo? Please tell me i have been missing something for 30 years. I can't understand why i need to trim my controller all the way over to one side.????

also, did a really bad paint job on my TOP FORCE, ordered another lexan shell. but also screwed up the bottom cover.As i knew i screwed it up i just played. Now the problem is i ordered a body and wing but cant find a bottom shell.

Totally am now committed to builds i started and kits on the way, waiting for japan orders, amazon orders and online hobby shop orders. Obviously non of us want this going on but that being said, i've definatly had alot of fun building. Only problem is now i'm going brushless and learing that i dont know brushless. so i ave no battery connectors and i now need to learn LIPO

perhaps DM off color stickers would sell like wildfire. just a thought

So as we are all unfortunately staying home, i'm in the US and i know we are all locked down. How much have you spent on the lockdown? i have defiantly gone overboard. Between receivers and kits i'm certainly $2000 US dollars into getting parts and kits and pieces. I'm not complaining, just wondering what you all have overspent while we are dealing with this world issue

i see two Tamiya RC Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050 Hybrid 2019 F103GT Kit listed. one is about $20 more i read the descriptions but cant seem to find the price increase?

Brusless Motors and escs are arriving by fed ex tomorrow. Finishing Top Force this eve and hoping to have the elecrrics installed tomorrow.Still waiting on flysky controller and 10 receivers to stick in the fleet. However, I am gonna have to steal a receiver to test the top force out. Im really thinking about grabbing another motor for the RRR thats closer to 5000. But that will leave me with the dt03, dt02 to decide where to put the second brushless. i have torque tuned sitting that i could put in any car. Oh and waiting on servos as well. so cant drive much at the moment. @Juggular

Completely botched my TOP FORCE body. I shouldnt have messed with it untill i was 100% ready. Cant get paint or supplies. Waiting on so many parts and electronics to complete builds. Corona is killin me.

I have an RRR actually I got wheels and tires in the kit. No shell. Yellow wheels.

@Juggular yeah the place is huge. surrounded by dropoffs so i can sit high up and look down on the action. all kinds of different sand, dirt, stone, dunes and hills.

I run in a huge sand pit. Can’t upload the google image. @Jonathon Gillham Dt03 is good but could do just a little better. The RRR needs to boogie or what’s the point of having it and running it. The sand viper has no electronics as I’m waiting for Servos. Super shot still In shipping for a month but will prob stay bz, torque tuned.
