  1. @Jonathon Gillham if that seems to be the case i assume you are talking about on lipo? im on 7.4 nihm old school. haha. anyway, i could boost up to 5500 or 4600 brushless to get a bit of oomph? im not racing just enjoying my cars. not concerend about lap times
  2. built 4 kits over the last 3 weeks with another two coming. Have 2 turnigy motors and esc coming soon. one i i will be putting in my db01rrr the other at least at the moment will go into either sand viper or dt03 neo. the dt03 is up and running with a bz motor on tble02 esc. I ran it the othe day and it went well( steers terrible under power) but quick and seemed well balanced over small jumps. what kind of increase in power can i expect with 7.4 batt on stock gearing? i will pick up lipos at some point but will wait till i have all kits running. thanks guys
  3. Hey everyone, i ordered a Turnigy TrackStar Waterproof 1/10 Brushless Power System 3520KV/80A and didnt think to order wire to solder to motor. What do i need? Thanks
  4. corona 2020 would be a great theme for a shell, could you print the corona virus cell? Id love to do a corona car. corona 2020 racing?

I bought it many years ago on a local forum. Never took the time to rebuild it.

  8. Almost done the M05 2CV RALLY. detail on the body will keep u busy.
  9. Now I’ll start the paint and other leftover things on the TOO FORCE while I’m waiting on the mailman
  10. Got all the detail stickers on the 2cv squared away. Will start painting the lights and push bumper as well as the roof attachements tomorrow. But in the meantime I messed with the neo fighter as I am still waiting for servos and such.
  11. @rwordenjr no, just a box sand viper.
  12. Black with silver base
  13. have 3 futaba attacks. cant find them anymore! discontinued?
  14. Finally a Durga body for my RRR. Now if only the postman would deliver all the other things that are out there in delivery world so i can get started on the rest of my unfinished car projects i started under lockdown.
  15. The irony, from my perspective, here in the US is that the mail service and shipping companies are one of the things NOT shut down. If we are all stuck at home, outta work, not supposed to be out then the delivery services are crucial. However, i have about ten orders including servos, paint, motors, esc and misc. parts out there in the world somewhere. Tracking is useless. Looking at 20-30 days for things to arrive. So we may be stuck and want to occupy ourselves but we cant. We have time, but no material. Obviously i am not complaining that the services are slow here due to the fact they are prioritizing shipments. But it does stink to not be able to move forward with projects. My kids have been home for two weeks home schooling due to the virus. Now they are on spring break for a wekk. Been waiting as of now almost 3 weeks for his supershot to show up. Still have no idea when it will be here. Just saying.
  16. Prefer clear but if the paint is done well then thats ok @Warhorse
  17. So, still waiting for kit to arrive. Patients is a virtue

  19. so, i am so loving those responses. first, i have no problem building two. But that would take away from my son feeling like he did this build on his own. it will be quite tedious and i am sure will not go as i plan as 13 year old boys can instill their will. That said am quite lucky to have the children i do. @Saito2 please dont take this as a negative respose. As i value all comments on anything i post. My son is in tune with e and i am so lucky to have that.Building this car together is a fantastic thing. i wish my dad sat and helped me. no i learned and educated myself. As far as antiquated technology goes in the kits i am well aware. These builds are life long and valuable, not a plug for tamiya or any other co. I wont ever buy a RTR as i dont feel that thats car building. there is always something about doing the work that lends itself to being a man. yes i said that. @moffman yes i completly agree. there was nothing like looking through the tamiyaaa catolog and wanting it all. i shudder as well with any prebuilt!!!!! And if he wants to race as his old man i will destroy him.
  20. love it, just not sure im ready for the insane investment!
