" Where did you get the new body/decals? pargustore? I once bought mine there, paid almost as much as for the used chassis " You have 2 solutions First one : The full Tamiya Bear Hawk body set by pargustore : my solution, expensive but wihout risk (originals decals, body and pilot) Last minute.... for the body/decals : http://www.ebay.fr/itm/tamiya-1-10-buggy-BEAR-HAWK-body-set-50408-new-in-box-original-/162198639383?hash=item25c3cad317 Second one :On the net, a decals reproduction (http://www.ebay.com/itm/BEAR-HAWK-CUSTOM-TAMIYA-HPI-LOSI-VINTAGE-DECALS-STICKERS-PRECUT-1-10th-RC-CARS-/361734696234?hash=item5439116d2a) . less expensive but I don't know the quality Pascal

Hello To day I present you the renovation of one classical Tamiya Model : the Bear Hawk It’a a car I always liked well, with its aggressive look On the net, it is difficult to find a car in rather good state, the whole for a correct price (not prohibitive) The fault in of Mister Tamiya who has not make a new edition of this beauty. In brief, I was lucky approximately 4 months ago to find one Bear for a correct price Here is in it state at first Body Out, tires death but the completely correct rest No broken or split part, 2 servos are present and operational Thus a good starting point Some purchases of parts later: - body+stickers+pilot (item 50408), the most important investment - Grapps D and B (not necessities for the functional but for the esthetics) - The body to have a clean base - Some bearings, 4 wheels and tires of DT03 - Electronics (ESC + receiver) - 4 metal dampers (not simple springs) - and a Dirt Tuned motor that I already had in Brief stock Some photos Front and rear parts ended (with metal tumbuckle shaft instead of origin ugly plastic things) Front : Rear : Two (where is the middle???) Assembly of the chassis, and direction with the steering servo Installation of the electronics, dampers and 4 wheels (painted metal) Ended body after paint (black and steel grey), stickers and pilot Ended chassis, with wheels And finally the ended car Pascal
