  1. Check your motor screws. I had clicking in mine going to reverse and it ended up being one of the motor screws came loose allowing the motor to move around. I didn’t notice until I put a screwdriver on it.
  2. Noticed on @Mokei Kagaku Facebook page that there is a 22059 Metal Bevel setup coming out. Wonder if that will solve the stripping issues observed with higher power?
  3. I remember talk of these years ago on RCMT or Clodtalk. At least some of the amusement park Clods were equipped with Sassy Chassis and JPS gearboxes and ladder bars. In the name of durability I’m sure. What I don’t know is if there was a single supplier or how they were sourced. Either way, cool to see them still in use!
  4. Roller on sale again for $259!! Looks to be valid at least at Tower and Amain.
  5. Until you use said 10mm and poof! Gone forever!
  6. Lovely thanks! So looks like the idler mounts directly to the case. I was expecting a metal post or something like that. Heck of a lot of reinforcement molded in at that spot it looks like.at least!
  7. Post a pic of the rear gearbox setup from the manual if you could please!. I am curious how they install the idler gear since it looks like the new tensioner occupies that space.
  8. They are OK I guess. A little let down to see there was no blister packaging inside the boxes 😂😂 Seriously though, beautifully done. I really wish I had the kind of skill and patience you have here, your basic is my advanced course!
  9. Saw that. Crazy sale, wonder if Losi is going to make it go away at that deep of a discount. Certainly hope not. Then again, I always felt their pricing was too high to start. Was the v2 the updated axle housings or were there more extensive changes?
  10. Much appreciated @Kol__ you may be getting a pm from me soon! Perfect example of why this site rocks!
  11. Thank you all. Sound like good products. Still crazy shipping but I now have like ten different sets in the cart lol.
  12. Anybody here used JC Racing wheels (https://www.jcracingproducts.co.uk)? I have my eyes on a few options but noticed that shipping to the US is 40 GBP so I feel like I need to order quite a few sets and don’t want to take the risk if they aren’t well made or fragile.
  13. At the early part of the video there is a lexan cover that goes over top of the entire chassis. I am assuming that is what the velcro is used for. Also assuming I am not going to have to pay extra for the cover!
  14. I’m likely in after watching the video. Seems like it would be a fun build and interesting runner. Maybe I will actually get my XV-01 built and running before release.
  15. Thinking again about letting this one go again. Tax time coming up here in the states so money for folks to spend haha! Lets call it an even $500 plus actual shipping. I will dig it out of the kit pile for pics if any interest!
  16. Maybe I’m just in a bad mood today but I’m really over the shadowy hype videos that manufactures seem to love. Just release the studio pics already.

    Progress!

Would love to see Kyosho do this one again. Really interesting design!
  18. Back in stock at Tower today. Had my LHS order me one from there after he was unable to get One from Tamiya USA.
  19. I gotta say I want to see how they retain the battery in that position. With it being a rally car I would expect something fairly robust would be necessary.
  20. I saw a similar question on RC10 Talk about the idler space being gone and it has made me interested in what they did to compensate. The rear motor cars have a gear that hangs off of a post bolted to the motor plate. Wonder if they have done similar here? Certainly hope whatever option the came up with is thoroughly tested! Optima ReRe:
  21. Preordered mine today from the LHS. Super excited for the release. Really hoping the supply issues with basically everything don’t cause any delays but time will tell I guess.
  22. Ah, I see. Well, 1 for 2 on solving problems I guess. O-rings sound like a decent idea though. Will keep that in mind when I get to building mine.
