I saw a similar question on RC10 Talk about the idler space being gone and it has made me interested in what they did to compensate. The rear motor cars have a gear that hangs off of a post bolted to the motor plate. Wonder if they have done similar here? Certainly hope whatever option the came up with is thoroughly tested!

Preordered mine today from the LHS. Super excited for the release. Really hoping the supply issues with basically everything don’t cause any delays but time will tell I guess.

Thanks. The spring perches only really go on one way round (like everything…. Which I’ve managed to get upside down already…!). They’re good though. There is a lot of slop though which enables the spring to move a fair bit, and I’ve seen a couple of build videos where o rings have been fitted to take up the slack.
Ah, I see. Well, 1 for 2 on solving problems I guess. O-rings sound like a decent idea though. Will keep that in mind when I get to building mine.

Haha. Lots of carrots today i guess!!

May want to look at your lower spring perch too. Can’t tell for sure from the picture but the fact that the spring isn’t sitting square over it means it may be upside down too. I haven’t built a Wild One (yet, have a Blockhead in the basement) so don’t know the parts well enough to say for sure.

Check your bottom damper mounts. Thy look like they are upside down vs the manual illustrations.

I’ve been tempted to try it but just haven't made the leap just yet. LHS said he would cut me a deal on a DR10 kit if I wanted so may be tempted here soon. I do LOVE some of the bodies available.

Yes, it's back to it's normal pokey self. I managed to place my first order with them. It took four times as long as an A Main order would. But they're generous with the free shipping, and I bought useful stuff that was only in stock at Tower (FedEx, no thanks). So I'll see how this one goes and proceed from there.
Don’t expect to hear anything for a few days. Does take a bit to pick and pack. But every order I have made comes packed well and I often find better prices than available elsewhere, especially on spares.

Absolutely terrible to be taken here in a forum of what should be trustworthy enthusiasts. Definitely go to the mods, and heck, pm the person, give them 24 hours to respond and then if you hear nothing, call them out publicly. Folks like that should be ejected from this forum as quickly as possible.

Yes, much slower than normal for me, or not loading at all.

@BelknapCrater where did you get those wheels? Love them!

Still waiting on my slipper from Tower. Shipped the 23rd and shows departed Fedex facility on the 26th. Has no further scans since even though it was projected to deliver here in Ohio yesterday. Likely sitting in a trailer in California waiting for a driver. Last tower package via Fedex took something like 9 days to make it from two states away. Looks like the slipper is on the same timeline.

Got one just last night worth mentioning. i listed an out of the box but otherwise new Axial Ryft + a couple of desired hop-ups yesterday at a buy it now of $450. Got an offer shortly after the listing started for $300 ☹️

Merry Christmas from the USofA. Rain and 60+ degrees (15C) here in Ohio today. Not quite Christmas weather, but the kids are having a great day so I’m happy!

Slipper back to pre-order at Tower. As of now my backorder still hasn’t been filled. Going to be really upset if they made them available for general orders before filling all the backorders, but in this day and age I am surprised by nothing.
Well, gotta apologize I guess! Got an email about 20 minutes ago saying Tower shipped my slipper clutch.

Stopped by the LHS yesterday and asked him to see what he can do as far as backorder, either through Horizon or Kyosho directly. Price feels like it will be high based on links above so I only asked for the one. If price comes back a little more reasonable then maybe a second. Not sure yet. Still super excited.

This is one of the non-Tamiya rereleases I have been waiting on. Great news!

Anyone have any lucking on finding the Universal Shafts hop up?
I was lucky enough to get them off back order at Tower Hobbies, but they look to be back on backorder. If you are in the US, it looks like Tamiya USA has them in-stock currently.

TT-02.5. Now includes full bronze bushing kit in the box.
My guess at least though hope to be surprised by something cool!! Also surprised to see the Fighting Buggy get another go so quickly. Though here in the states it was nearly impossible to obtain the last run through any of the major on-line shops so it almost didn’t count.

What drives me crazy is that eBay always seems to under estimate shipping cost AND tacks on final value fees on the total cost (including shipping). Probably why I ended up with so many cars as I got sick of losing so much money on everything I sold.
One time somebody asked me if i could meet them locally on an item. I said yes, but you will have to do buy it now and pay shipping calculated. Then I would just refund them the shipping cost charged. They got mad and declined. I am 99.9% sure I would have either been robbed or they would have shown up with like $50 bucks and tried to get me to let it go for way under what it was worth.

XV-02 on the way!

I gotta say I want to see how they retain the battery in that position. With it being a rally car I would expect something fairly robust would be necessary.
