That makes me confident! I asked my LHS to check a price for me as I missed the Tamico sale but got worried these may not be around forever. He accidentally ordered it! He cut me a good price though so I'm going to go ahead and do it.

Thanks for the info!. Have you had issues with the stock axle guards bending where the lower links mount? I had that problem on my TXT-1 and that was the reason I went with the aluminum replacements. If anybody else had experience with these please let me know.
-
Does anybody have any experience with the aluminum TXT axle guards that are available on EBAY? I had a set from a US company in the past that were great, but know that GPM can be a buy hit or miss. These are what I am talking about:

So glad to hear that they have sold so many kits. I know they took a risk getting into this niche so very glad to hear it has paid off. I even bought two Hot Shot kits just to make sure they would keep going!

This is what I've been waiting for! I would buy maybe three kits to upgrade the MIP diffs I already have (great idea btw). Plus at least one full kit and probably more if the price is right. Even with the excellent diff in place I still have issues throwing the passenger side CV.

Avante Black Special!! What a beauty!! Even the hobby shop owner was impressed by itwhen it showed up.

Unfortunately no pen no certificate but did build a lot easier than the XLS!
Oh well, that was a cool touch on the XLS. Mine shipped from California on the 21st and isn't due until Thursday though it is now sitting at UPS about two miles away from my house! I tell you, don't have anything shipped just before the Christmas holiday with UPS. A 5 business day journey that includes two four day weekends stretches delivery time considerably (currently estimated to be 14 calendar days shipment to delivery).

Can't wait to see mine delivered. Did they do anything with the pen or certificate like they sent with the CAT XLS?

Shipping notice received! Hopefully have it by the end of next week. I will be building it stock with alloy eccentrics eventually. Though I'll probably order the upgraded transmission also just to have.

Nor could I. Then I went to Tamico to price it out with some spares and it's back up to 349EUR. Oh well, I have a Top Cat and Avante Black Special on back order so really couldn't afford it anyway. Still curious on the customs thing if anybody in the US has ever used them.

Trying to talk myself out of the 277 EUR TXT2 on special at Tamico. I have used a local shipper in the past for small items but their (Tamico's) shipping at 40 EUR (and taking away VAT) seems a good price for such a large box. Anybody in the US aware of potential import fees on such a big purchase?
-
I am a huge fan of box at for Tamiyas. Alternative schemes just seem out of place to me. I think because they go to such great lengths to design the box art scheme. I do agree to some extent on having to have a connection to the car I am driving. I bought and sold a Slash 4x4 without ever using it, I just couldn't see myself enjoying it even though it did everything better than most Tamiyas.

Top Cat now on backorder!

I have a TRX4 Defender that I absolutely love. My son loves it too. Two speed makes it quick enough to not be boring, and locking diffs add another element of complexity. I like complicated cars so it is all very appealing to me.

Instructions are up on the Schumacher website. Definitely a buy for me. Now to find the cash to do it.

I know very little about this car but I always thought the stamped chassis was cool looking. This could be a buy for me.

Has anybody used JS Scale before? Not familiar with them here in the States so wasn't sure they are good to use for international. I spent two years working on Land Rovers (done in 2004). Certainly the best 4x4xFar, even here in Jeep country.
-
They are rereleasing the racing steering kit (47388)and torque splitter (47389) sets later this year if you can't piece it together. Horizon has them up for preorder.

I am looking to sell a rere Sand Scorcher. New in shrink wrap. Asking $250 plus actual shipping cost. International shipping is crazy expensive so I would say US only is probably the best bet.

Apparently Supreme is everywhere. We are just too obsessed with toy cars to notice lol.

That escalated quickly lol!

How about the CR01? Quite a pain if one needs to open up one of the axles.

Forgot to take a pic, but a Vanquish VS4-10. I'm telling myself this is the last kit for a while and may even sell some to make myself feel better about the cash outlay.

Wow that's rusty!! Good save on this one. I have a lot of fun just putting around with a scale truck and just watching the suspension work.

RC10B6.1D - in US
in Sales, trades & wanted

So I have to generate some cash to cover a TXT-2 purchase and am going to make a new in open box RC10B6.1D available for sale. I got a great deal on it and will pass that along, looking for $255+ shipping in us. PayPal only please. Sorry, I can't get pics to post to the site but can email them later tomorrow evening if anybody is interested. International shipping is too costly in my experience so US only please.
