  1. Hopefully landing tomorrow! ๐Ÿคž want to get it finished up ready for a outdoor meet shortly, was hoping this weekend, but will have to be the next one all being well!
  2. https://www.screwfix.com/p/countersink-12-x-38mm/9656v
  3. I used a counter sink bit, but the carbon fibre killed it way too fast. Must need a better quality one. Tbf it was a screw fix special.. but then I used a hss 5mm drill bit by hand as they have a angle on them which suited the screw head. And just kept turning by hand until the head of the screw went flush. Obv donโ€™t wanna go at it with a drill in case you go all the way through.. ๐Ÿ˜ช
  4. Finished, well until I can get some 419 steering posts.. ๐Ÿ‘ may space the servo forward slightly to try and line up the servo arm..
  5. Test fit Wrong posts but just checking it works! ๐Ÿคž
  6. test fitted posts to make Sure the heads are flat. brand new counter sink blunted after a few tryโ€™s, had to use a larger drill by had and after a while got there..
  7. Steering mod progress mocked up on a spare 415 chassis, then realised the sus block for the arms is further in on a ms inwards not assemble correctly but was checking it was going to fit. I know it should. But wanted to see it.. Marked a line where I wanted the posts to mount Then just decided to go for it last night, I was able to use the spare chassis to line up holes by sliding backwards till I got them where I wanted, marked them out. And away we go, nice and slow to keep the dust from Flying and risk damaging it.
  8. Post 40th blues weekend bump.. May trade, what you got? ideally trf Tb evo items of interest.
  9. Interesting, what else is in the collection? apologies I donโ€™t need a m03 at the Moment btw.. ๐Ÿ˜ข
  10. Looking for a few items for my trf415 build. first up is a floating servo mount, can be off any trf / ta07 etc as going to be retrofitted. let me know if one lying around.. mark
  11. planning a steering conversion, basically the msxxmr layout so much lower profile like the 419. but will require a servo relocation,:so easiest way I can see is to fit a floating servo holder, couple of holes in the plate and its relocated easily. Now to find one, went through the manuals and 417v5 onwards have them. snyone got a spare on they donโ€™t want? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ but opening a can of worms, have the arms and bridge secured, possibly posts as well, which Iโ€™ll trim right down and make a small brace like the 419. will have to redrill the chsssis as the holes need to be further back than they are now. guess there is only so much you can do on the orig so plate With upgrading Kits before you Have to splash out on the up to date plate. But I am going to try. ๐Ÿ‘ this is my outdoor car but also my โ€˜tinkering carโ€™ so will keep trying to do what I feel I can for now..
  12. Just resting with younger brother! ๐Ÿ˜‚
  13. to avoid major issues Iโ€™m going to run a 3000mah shortie, as fits nicely where the bulkhead permits. will have to add some weight thou to get close to the target weight. 1350g I think from memory..
  14. electrics back in, need to sort the servo leads, caps and aerials then hopefully can be run again..
  15. test fitted these I found in the box from when I bough the car, nice ally lay shaft bearing holders. found that I need a different top plate cos they donโ€™t sit flush like the plastic ones. so hoping to acquire a couple of the lay shaft covers off a msxxmr I think it is. then I will have the ability to shim the msxxmr lay shaft to stop the front belt catching slightly at spur side.
  16. Yeah thanks! ๐Ÿ‘ has seen it, postage is a bit of a killer thou.. plus Iโ€™ll prob get hit import on it as well! ๐Ÿ˜ญ thanks thou! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  17. On the look out for a steering bridge off title chassis. any around? thanks in advance uk based..
  18. Thatโ€™s good! it Was tough to picture but they are 1997 Impreza wheels.. hopefully the right ones! ๐Ÿ‘ They are brand new unused but not packaged. make me a offer ๐Ÿ‘
  19. Are these the right rims? Iโ€™ll check the code later tonight..
  20. Weekend bump ๐Ÿ˜ May also consider trf / Tb Evo related trades.. money preferred but try me ๐Ÿ‘
  21. I do indeed thanks! ๐Ÿ‘ yeah I can do this one for 125 posted.. its almost complete, a few bits to finish off and be good to go! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  22. all the way from a friend in Hong Kong, rc cox X-ray 0 degree hub carriers which can be used to form rear ars. Had planned on fitting to my indoor racer but ars is better suited outdoor so at some point Iโ€™ll configure and fit to this.. just a bit of minor trimming and theyโ€™ll fit perfectly..
  23. Almost finished front roll bar, setup station and electrics and be almost complete.
