Thanks for that Just been having a look and googling different chargers and the Dynamite Prophet Percept seemed to be getting really good reviews.....Do you have any experience with these? People seemed to prefer it because it was an 80W charger as apposed to a 50W charger? http://www.modelsport.co.uk/dynamite-prophet-precept-80w-lcd-ac-dc-battery-charger-uk/rc-car-products/387945 -

Don't really want to spend a fortune...but not on a budget Good to know the tactic transmitter gets the thumbs up! Yep, was thinking of adding another battery.....anybody know what sort of run time i'd get on one of these batteries? I have read a couple negative reports on the charger stopping working after a couple of months :s Was wondering if i should upgrade that for a better one....Maybe one that can also charge Lipo batteries in case i decide to go down that route at a later date.... -

Hi Guys, I also wanted a Tamiya HotShot as a kid but it was too expensive So i had to settle for The Falcon....that was a long long long time ago now....! I was recently looking for a new hobby and remembered the Tamiya Falcon i built as a kid and thought i wouldn't mind doing something like that again....i googled Tamiya...and to my delight i saw that Tamiya was doing re-releases and i also found this fantastic bustling forum you have here I started looking through all the Tamiya cars on the websites.....and there it was! The Tamiya Hotshot that i couldn't have as a kid...! It seems things have moved on for the better since i last had a RC car with batteries taking less time to charge etc and hopefully running for a little bit longer than i remember... So i'm thinking of getting the HotShot from a company called ModelSport....who are not that far from where i live, and seem to have a pretty good website. They have a bundle that they are offering with the car called the power 2 bundle....and i was hoping if you guys would let me know if the bundle that the shop recommends is any good....or should i spend a little bit more and get better equipment? The bundle is: Tactic RC TTX300 3 Channel SLT Radio £28.99 Tactic RC TSX35 Standard Sport Servo £7.49 Enrich Power 3000mah 7.2v Sport Stick Pack £13.00 Fusion Vector NX86 Delta Peak AC/DC Fast Charger £22.99 Do you think i should go ahead and get these items with the Hotshot? Or would you spend a little bit more money on any of them? If so which ones? and what would you recommend as replacements? Thank you
