if you look at the final pinion in the picture (http://home.no/jmcs/modell_biler/manual/22.jpg) I think maybe you could turn it the other way around like in the picture so the set screw is closest to the side where the plastic gears are(counter gear).There will be a little gap, but not much. Are those the Kyosho scorpion front wheels on that car? Looks like a white RC-10 antenna mount on that car, shame on Kyosho, lol

HiI dont have a picture of that car, but I think I saw one in Car Action in the late eighties. The car was very different from the original, the cahssis was replaced with a graphite one, and the shocks were replaced(probably with the optima gold shocks). In the advertising Kyosho always said the the ultima won the wictory in 1987 but this car was very different from the ultima you could buy in the stores..

The Tomahawk is a nice, car - not great mechanically but good looking in IMO. Thats why I had to have a local company make some replica Tomahawk bodies for me . Would consider fitting one of the bodies to a more competitive car, and race it. Just to get that retro spirit
