Thanks for the info. I've meassured the rc-10 graphite wheels again and it seems the front rims are 2.2" and the rear are 2.0".

I'm a bit confused about the size of rc car tires. I remember when I got my gold tub rc-10 it came with a pair of three(or four) piece wheels that were screwed together with three hex screws. These wheels were replaced with the wheels from the rc-10 graphite when that first came out. I've tried to meassure these wheels and they seem to be about 2.2" in diameter. Is this the standard size buggy tires for 1:10 wheels and tires these days. I think I've seen some wheels that were alot bigger. I also wonder about the size of the original rc-10 gold pan wheels as I tried to put the wheels from the rc-10 on my scorpion tire and they where a bit too big for the wheel. What sized tires would fit on my scorpion?

I've been looking for 2.6mm socket cap screws for some time now. I know Tower Hobbies have some, but they only sell kits with different lengths. By accident I found www.hexscrews.com that sell as many screws you want, most dimensions included 2.6mm. Got the package today, very happy now:)

Hehe, Actually I think I've seen pics of the Turbo with the straigh rollbar....

I've been looking at some pics of the Scorpion and Turbos Scorpion and to me it looks like they dont have the same rollbar. Turbo Scorpion rollbar(http://www.oople.com/rc/manuals/turboscorpion/imagepages/turboscorpion010.html) Scorpion (http://www93.sakura.ne.jp/~time-tunnel/000-000SCOPION1.html) The one on the original scorpion rollbar seems to be bendt forward a bit, and the one from the turbo is straight is this a difference in the radioboxes(I belive not) or the lexan bodies of the two cars? or is it the roll cages that differ.

Thanks for the great info about the Optima Mid. Are there any well known weaknesses on these cars, would they be competitive today if you gave them some modern wheels and tires?

Got a new price for the sandcasting of the parts now, seems I can get all casted parts for less than 150 USD []

Got the mold back today, the company have delayed the production for so long now, I didn't care to wait for them anymore. Will send it to another company on monday.

Anyone know if the Kyosho Tomahawk body would fit a RC-10 gold tub chassi, or the RC-10 Graphite?

I found the company in the phonebook yellow pages. Starting to regret that I didn't send the molds to another company now.

****UPDATE**** The vacuum company has still not produced what they said, its 3 months since I sendt them the mold now, not good. Last time I spoke to them they had some problems with their heater hor heating the polycarbonate to get rid of the moist before vacuumforming.
