The original brakes had so much fade. This set-up is great, but you clean your wheels, do about a mile or two with soft braking and they are filthy again. So annoying. My car too is quite old now. The only consolation is that it's going up in price.

My oem wheels were diamond cut face. As soon as that lacquer was damages, water ingress, lifting, cloudy and oxidisation. I'm my wheels worse enemy because no matter what I put on them, even my painted wheels, they get damaged due to using ceramic compound brake pads. But I can stop/scrub off speed so fast.

@Wooders28 Nice rattle can job, but come on! Your going to this much effort, you should of done 2 pk.

Tethered aircraft's, boats and cars will die as there is not much exposure of this hobby. Also the lack of places to use them. RCing will not die because of it's exposure and accessibility. Look at all the new manufacturers including toy grade. Even Barbie has rc car.

That's a bit harsh for 20mph +. I keep to the speed limits too. Nice torque figures.

Wow, you've had some nice cars. I was into bikes back then. All I got to say, as I tell my mates, do it before it's too late.

@Wooders28 Not 100% sure about this although there is an indication. Reason being is that at the start the track has rubber already laid down and you can have a good or a bad lauch - human error.

@Lee1075 Thanks. I suppose at this junction of life I just want a normal car that will get me from A to B. Modded cars can be a bit of a nuisance and the manufacturers have got it right in the first place. Also if I need a thrill I just jump on the bike. We use to have a Triumph Spitfire convertible, when I was a kid. So cramped in the back with myself and two sisters. I would like another E30.

@Toolmaker72 I wouldn't say it has a narrow power band as it is very linear and redlines at 8k.

Heat or drill through shaft and pass bar through it and twist.

With regards to BMWs poor paint finish, it's not because it's water based but their factory process. I have had my whole car resprayed at a dealership and it came out perfect. @Willy iine When asked by dealership if you want your car cleaned, always say no. You use some good products. I don't believe in ceramic paint treatments. @Wooders28 Well that's a bit cr4p, but I do love McLarens. See them everyday as I live in Woking. Had a tour of their facility where they built the F1 GTR. Also seen the black P1 which JC tested on top gear. lol, even tried to bate that car. Also been behind their test mule orange F1 GTR. I'll be paying homage to this by painting my Buri Racer orange.

fair enough. I do have a soft spot for the older one. I wouldn't mind a newer BMW but one thing that bothers me is the paint finish, very poor. Blaming it on water based paints. You pay that much for a car and get a s4!t paint job.

@Willy iine I have to admit I was not a fan of the E36 at first as it was so different from the E30. E36 compared to E46 is like night and day. A home is more important than a car. Sold my E30 a few months ago, which I really regret. So many memories as I had it when I was a boy and worth quite a bit now. You should of brought the M2.

Cool. The S54 engine won best engine award for 6 years in a row in the 3-4 litre class. All SC components ceramic coated by Zircotec including manifold, full Super Sprint race system (including manifold) with Milltek rear box, ESS SC kit, CSL quick steering rack, KW v3 suspension, AP brakes all round, Rays RE30 wheels, stack gauges and a few other things. Body work done by BMW, lot of Varis cf, about 16k, front and rear wheel arches vented like race car. I want to get upgrade kit for SC, run Aquamist system and go Syvec standalone.

Yes. Was running 288/280 Schrick cams oem CSL carbon airbox, now SC and running around 500hp.

According to instructions, TBLE-04S output to Rx is 6v at 1.5A
