I placed a shim on the m3 stepped screw, which goes through the steering arm, to reduces wobble/play.
Same diameter as the raised plastic portion on the steering arm.

I would use the wide frp chassis plate to allow easy install of electrics.

You can get foam tyres for wet/damp conditions.
-
For a crawler that is going to get heavy/hard usage, then no I personally would not bother.
I think one of the key things for panel lines to look good is that you have to use really fine line tape and also not to stretch it.

Ta03 dual motor can be done.

They are not that bad to mount/use and probably the best solution, in my opinion.
As mentioned most TC use them such as Yokomo, XRay, Schumacher...
For my Yokomo BD8, part number: BD-016
I could not find the parts by themselves, as they are accompanied with posts and clips.

Molotow chrome pen looks more silver than chrome, to me.

I believe it to be part of the part rather than a protective film to be removed.
Reason being that new frp, for example TA03 parts, are 100% fixed and to remove would take effort/process. Not easily peeled off.
The outer layer/film lifting is maybe down to poor storage - moisture/hot/cold?
Looks just as good when removed.

Thanks. Saw that one actually. It looks to be a later model BMW. Same racing team though.
Yep. it's a E36 and your body is an E30.

Yeah I know.
Shipping costs are not that bad, apart from www.winternity.com. I had no import duty on order of £240.00 from www.miniplanes.fr
Good luck in finding your parts in the UK.

Nice car.
Kyosho, Bitty Design, PROTOform, Delta Plastik. Maybe HaBoa. I'm sure there are others.
Try GRP Tyres, Fastrax, basically anything with 17mm Hex mount.

FW06 is a better car.

Futaba 3PV manual.

Futaba 3PV range in optimal conditions is 80m.

As with motorcycles, flex is desirable in RC cars. Long travel shocks will sort out any issues.

I have a Rocket combo in my 1/10 touring car running 3s.
No issues. The ESC's only have a few adjustable parameters.
All sourced from ebay.

@Nicadraus Are those HPI body shells?

Nice Tx. Some Tx have a throttle ramp up, so no need for Perfect Pass.
Raz uses a 2w booster, but has had range issues.
Limitless looks good. Hope the XLX2 doesn't give you any problems.
One day I'll make it to Wales.

How much do you spend a month on the hobby?

Not as much as I use to as I have not seen any interesting cars, apart from Slide Reloaded (originally SMP Slide) and Capricorn. Both of these car manufacturers are really expensive and I just can't justify it.
Having other interests such as RC boats and Motorcycles, the spending pot gets smaller.
