  1. After some search on the internet I found my good old niffty device. http://www.2brothersrc.com/pictures/car_13...en_plak_app.jpg On the page its says it's made by Carson but cant find anything from Carson. Does anyone knows who makes it?
  2. Hi there, A couple of years ago I bought a real niffty cementing helper which I lost when I moved to my new house :S Now I searched the internet for another tyre cementing helper and the only one I can find is the Tamiya helper which I allready bought years ago and I didnt like to work with. Does anyone know a good cementing helper, at an online store? Hope to hear from you. Gr. Simon
  3. but then again, lighting strikes and I got a working link http://home.comcast.net/~broncojim/rccar.wmv
  4. **** the link http://www.miro.no/mixed/1982_Toyota_Camry_RC.wmv is down[]
  5. My first responce was that this movie was tricked. But he is really that good. If this kind of movie is fun, then look at this http://www.miro.no/mixed/1982_Toyota_Camry_RC.wmv that is really a big rc-car
  6. Dunno if you guys ever say this guy??? http://www.handymodels.co.uk/downloads/ala...lydemo_2004.wmv HE ROCKS ps:sorry if this was allready posted once
  7. quote:I guess that is the price to pay for when playing in an open car-park........for the TT01, the way that the motor is placed is good as the motor gasket prevents stuff for flying into the drive gear. However for the TB02, one of the bigest weak point is that if one is using the aluminum motor mount, somehow there is a small gap that if one is unlucky, a very small stone grain could still get in and the horrible 'Grrrrrrrrrrr' sound will soon follow. I will agree with you that its best to avoid chassis without drive gear covering in an open car park...... id="quote">id="quote">Is it a wrong thought that the more expensive chassis lack dirt-protection because they are mainly driven on clean surfaces by experts in competitions and not by fun-drivers? And because they are used in competitions every weight is dropped (covers etc.)? I am happy with the TT01 chassis, it can be seriously tuned-up by Hop-ups etc. easy to clean.
  8. quote:Originally posted by SjoerdThose racing cars are often used indoors and on very clean track. The parking lot you run on is really dirty compared to a really clean surface. [] Belt drive cars suffer the most from this, as stones can get into the belts - whcih are the weakest poitn of the driveline... [V] id="quote">id="quote">I think really clean surfaces are hard to find besides the clean circuits. I stick with my TT01 for now, I am mostly a outdoor driver and the nearest circuit is in Eindhoven.... I think the TRF415 is a briljant looking chassis but a drama for outdoor driving(parkinglot) imho.
  9. Hi Revival, welcome. Maybe a little bit off topic, but I am driving the TT01 chassis and offcourse I keep an eye on other chassis but I wonder. When I drive my car on the parkinglot, after an hour its rather dirty. Sand, little stones etc. The TRF415 is completely open, in the TT01 the engine for instance is covered, no sand can come between the spur gears. If I look at the EvoIII on this picture http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/492...3/tb_evo3_5.htm One can imagine what happens when a little stone crashes between the parts.... How do people with those chassis handle this?
  10. RTR are good for people who are relatively unknown with building cars. Toying arround with Hop-ups, spare-parts etc. makes it easy for newbies to finally make the big step and build a car from out-of-the-box.
  11. Yesterday I ordered from Tower Hobbies. Does anyone knows if they use decent packages? I ordered an aluminium shaft and a carbon upper frame, which are rather fragile parts imho. I know that they are sometimes rough with packages..... do they use enveloppes or cases?
  12. On the english site of Tamiya I saw there are gonna be stabilizer sets for the TT-01 Item 53694 ---------------------------------TT-01 Front Stabilizer Set Item 53695 ---------------------------------TT-01 Rear Stabilizer Set Anyone saw them or got pictures of it?
  13. quote:Originally posted by SjoerdSisi-Driver, he was talking about a ball diff, not about ball bearings. Ball Bearings are always worth it though. id="quote">id="quote">Oeps... [:I] My fault []
  14. I find it worth spending. You dont have to buy the more expensive Tamiya bearings, the most RC-shops have cheaper alternatives. Your car drives more smoothly, less strain on the juice.

I live near Tilburg and are looking for good spots to race maybe with other rc-fanatics I know its offtopic but just wonder.
  16. Kay, first posting here. Like: puttin the wheels on, getting those real pimp rims that really look bizar, cleaning the car after a drive on the parking-lot. Dislike: waiting for those hop-ups to arrive. Here in Holland its very difficult for instance to get the alu.prop. shaft for the tt-01. Yesterday I installed the Toe-In Rear Uprights and experienced that my car can really drive in a straight line []
