Box art just like my first Tamiya build when I was a kid. I’ve also picked up a couple of decal sheets from MCI to replace the missing sponsors.

Sorry for the short notice but the next Tamiya Junkies meeting is Sunday 20th August at Robin Hood Raceway.

After months of waiting, I finally have the body I want for my XV-02.

I finished my Optima just in time for the Tamiya Junkies meeting tomorrow.

I use Yeggi.com as a search engine for 3d print files. A search for Tamiya comes up with nearly 2,000 results.

Not really the postman but my lovely family bought me this for my birthday. 😀

I hope so as the Bigwig has been high on my wish list for a while. If memory serves, the original Bigwig was a celebration of 10 years of Tamiya RC and the last Re re was exactly 30 years later. Maybe we’ll have to wait until 2026 but I really hope not.

I finished the Kyosho Beetle, just in time for the Tamiya Junkies meet this weekend.

Wow, That is stunning! That’s convinced me not to go box art. I’ve never built a Kyosho kit so I’m looking forward to trying one. Strangely I’m not a massive fan of the VW beetle but now I own three models of the things 🤣

I had a lovely drive through the Yorkshire countryside, sunroof open, listening to good music until I arrived in Otley where Modelsport removed some of much money in exchange for this……. 😀

Unpopular opinion = I think the standard Top Force looks much nicer than the Evo.

Okay, here goes. I hate the Tamiya Falcon, I hated it on sight when I was 10 and still think it horrible now im pushing 50, I think the body shape is ugly, worse than the striker or even the saint dragon in proportion. The odd sized yellow wheels don't help the side profile either. Freddie Wilson must need his eyes testing, its the last turkey in the shop for me.

Today, we went and churned up some mud.

Another small purchase from Pargustore…… …..which I couldn’t wait to fit. 🙂

I have a 15T Holmes Retro sport motor in my Blitzer. It ran fine all day on track last week.

I tried a set of drag wheels and tyres on my Gen 1 Mad Van. I’m not sure whether I like them or not yet 🤔

A delivery came from Pargustore today. I know they say sand scorcher but I think I might try these on my Frog.

I don’t know of any and I believe the lunchbox and WW2 front wheels won’t fit the MB. Maybe you could remove the gold plating with bleach or oven cleaner taking them back to bare plastic and painting them?
