  1. It doesn't need to be complicated, just add the voltage as M 800STD suggested and be done with it A google doc with full details would be nice if someone is willing to pull it together! I'm planning on running again on Saturday I'm aiming for 60Mph with a slightly bigger pinion, anyone else gonna run over the weekend? 6s Wooders ?? Anyone got anything fast in the making? I seen further back in the thread a 4s M Chassis........... could be special!
  2. RWD is generally harder with big power but with a good set up (most likely lots of additional weight out front) overall there's little difference for straight line runs. I had a good length run up, and no weights as the motor is hanging way out there. I chose the FF03 mainly for this reason, I had also been looking at the TRF419 as I think that it could be taken over 100Mph with 3s but it's too much money to use as basher and the FF03 came up at the right time. I would say 4WD is better in the vast majority of cases and especially so in overpowered scale cars. My HPI RS4 launches faster than a crazy super mega ultra fast thing.
  3. My man math has your motor at way over 100,000rpm, just shows how good Castle stuff is! Check out my board of pain below, especially the HobbyWing death corner. Your ESC can do 6S but it's not within the specification at that KV, to give you an idea my Hobbywing Max 8 can support up to 2400Kv on 6S, 3000Kv on 4S and so on. It just makes your set up even more awesome. Are you planning on trying 6S? And here's my car
  4. Jason, I don't think the drive type is a good differentiator. I would go for an overall board, then break it down by voltage and possiblly scale. I still amazed with wooders setup 5s on 5700kv and no magic smoke! Awesome
  5. Thank's Jason and well done Wooders, that's a very cool setup A tyre broke loose form the wheel on mine yesterday that ended the fun early. I run at my friends so I won't get back out today but hopefully I will post a 60Mph+ run next weekend! Here's my HPI RS4 sport 3 on 3s lipo from last summer hitting 77Mph, I ran it yesterday with a new motor and a smaller pinion and got just over 72Mph, so more to come. I might post up the run for the other brands category. Wooders to embed the Video all I do is copy the link then hit enter.
  6. This was the first shakedown with my new FF03, some tweaks and it should easily go over 60mph FF03 56.2 Mph - 90.4 Kmh Hobbywing Xerun 3.5t Hobbywing Xerun V3.1 120Amp Turnigy 2s Lipo 6000Mah 90C 68T Spur, 31T Pinion Tamiya Rubber Tyres
