  1. @Scipunk I got my mitts on the NN2 spacer this morning, these are the droids your looking for: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AS6420U-LBL-M4x6-Alum-Spacer-2-0mm-thick-6-LBL/253474024351?hash=item3b043aab9f:g:m1cAAOSwMPxaoAs8&frcectupt=true (Blue) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AS6420U-BK-M4x6-Alum-Spacer-2-0mm-thick-6-BK/253474026735?hash=item3b043ab4ef:g:CfIAAOSwL9paoAtl (Black) I just clicked the button! If you can wait for them to travel from Japan to the UK and then to the US, ill send you a couple if you cover the postage.
  2. A couple of parcels arrived yesterday and a can of bright gun metal is on the way First time I've ordered a chassis from RC Jaz and it arrived without a ransom note attached. Very impressed with the RCON body, it's mega sweet! I'm now thinking that I need a light kit, if anyone can recommend one that has enough to get the pod shining it would appreciated. Thanks
  3. Most people use third party image hosting such as Flickr. You just upload the picture to their site and then copy and paste the image address into the message and hit enter.
  4. Bump, goes to Flea Bay on Saturday. Now comes with blue 5mm Yeah Racing wheel hubs as I'm keeping the 6mm for my XV . £100 posted + fees within the UK.
  5. Thanks dudes.... awesome I ordered a RCON body earlier, now what's the closest PS or similar paint to match this beauty? @Honza That's very useful data, I'm keen to try it out with standard rally geometry so will persevere. I'm kicking myself a little for not noticing the difference in the pins and drive shaft lengths, at least it gives me excuse for another order. I was aware of the spool and wanted that over the gear diff although I will definitely being playing with different configurations over time. That should be keep me entertained for a while
  6. Thanks for the help, I hadn't seen @Scipunk recant thread which has usfull info in it and had another look at the instruction manuals. I decided to still go with the TC Pro chassis (wanted the shinny bits) and add back the standard suspension arms, blocks and hubs to gain the ground clearance back. It has cost a little more but I'm sure that it will be a better than my inital plan. With the NN4 spacer can someone kindly measure it for me? If there not available ill get some made up. I just pulled the trigger so this is what's on the way so far: Tamiya 58558 XV-01 TC Pro Chassis Kit Tamiya 54452 XV-01 Carbon Damper Stay Front Tamiya 54453 XV-01 Carbon Damper Stay Rear TamIya 51509 XV-01 L Parts – Wheel Liner Tamiya (#54121) HT Servo Saver Tamiya (#54311) TA06 Cross Shaft For Gear Differential Unit Tamiya 18T Aluminum Pulley #54450 (x2) Tamiya Carbon Bumper Support #84406 Tamiya Carbon Reinforced Front Uprights C Parts #54442 Tamiya Carbon Reinforced Rear Uprights E Parts #54443 Tamiya Carbon Reinforced Suspension Arms F Parts #54444 Tamiya TRF419X Low Friction Resin 5mm Suspension Ball #54747 Tamiya XV-01 Aluminum Steering Arms #54451 Tamiya XV-01 Aluminum Steering Bridge Set #54454 Tamiya XV-01 Aluminum Suspension Mount (XJ) #54379(x2) Tamiya XV-01 Separate Suspension Mounts (1XM) #54377 Tamiya XV-01 Separate Suspension Mounts (1XJ) #54376 Yeah Racing Titanium Screw Assorted Set for Tamiya XV-01 Now for the body, I've been dribbling over the RS200 body that @ThunderDragonCy has on his Ra conversion. I wasn't perviously aware that they were available so are there any other hidden gems out there before I order one?
  7. There is so much love for these on the forum and with my friends recant agreement to turn his back garden into a rally cross track a purchase is immanent. My current plan is to get the TC Pro version and add the off road parts tree. Considering it's use I have a small concern that I could miss out on the magic, should I be looking at a standard kit instead and going from there? This is the shopping cart, anything missing? Carbon shock towers Alloy pulleys L parts tree Alloy steering arms and brace Titanium screw kit Low friction suspension ball Carbon bumper support I have some metal TA06 gears and some alloy suspension blocks on the shelf. The front blocks are C so are a little wider, I hope they won't be a clearance problem? The RR is an E which will give 3 degrees toe in V2.5 stock. Thanks
  8. I was looking at the wrong car my anniversary edition actually has the same screw, I really need to fix that before I run it again! This is my standard TA02 SW, you can see that there is a different screw and a smaller washer. It has a lot less slop: SW Manual .....................................sneaking off to fix my anniversary edition
  9. I have a different screw in mine. I haven't checked the manual but either you have the wrong screw or my OCD couldn't handle the gap and I fixed it with said screw. Probably was my OCD but either way that's not up to standard if your going to run it!
  10. It's had very little use's, but has a few very light surface scratches on the bottom of the chassis. Will be sent in the original box with instructions. I'm looking for £100 + postage and fees, no offers please. 11. Bump No love for the TT02 £100 posted wihin the UK.
  12. A new arm for my TT02 thanks to @Superluminal, he very kindly responded to my wanted add and helped me out for free, top dude! And an apology from the Post Office for damaging the envelope and holding it ransom for a couple of weeks. Perhaps I should tap them up for the £100 he sent with it
  13. Here's me Julie, she's been on a Titanium and Aluminum diet. Should be hitting the track in a few weeks
  14. TT02R rolling chassis with Hop Ups and what's pictured below. It has some surface scratches on the tub (not deep) but otherwise it's in excellent condition. Looking for £100 + postage, can add electronics for more cash! see below: Hop Ups fitted: Yeah Racing: Adjustable alloy motor mount Alloy shocks (with range of springs) Alloy ball bearing steering Hex Titanium Screw Kit (approx 8 screws are steel hex and the 4 shock screws are standard Tamiya) 39mm drive shafts (NIP) 3 Racing: Prop shaft bearing holder Carbon bumper support (Rear) Carbon battery brace Alloy adjustable turnbuckles (steering) Tamiya: Carbon Front shock Tower Carbon Rear shock Tower High Speed gear set (66 tooth Tamiya spur) Alloy front bumper support Alloy differential lock (NIP) Steel low friction suspension balls Spare propeller Joints (sealed) Standard Tamiya R Spec parts: Alloy prop shaft Alloy rear hubs (3 degree) Tamiya drive shafts (front) Metal shielded ball bearings Slidelogy 25T alloy servo horn 7.0mm wheel hex (think Team Associated) If your looking for more than a rolling chassis I can add and fit a Hobbywing Xerun 120a V2.1 and a 4t Trackstar motor (approx 8000kv) with a cheap servo for more cash. I can also supply a used body and a good HPI wheel transmitter and receiver that could go with if you want a runner!
  15. The amount of Meh in this thread saddens me deeply . Bottom line is that just about anything you do to a Capri would improve the Aero and hitting 100Mph is not easy. If you are serious about hitting that magic number you will need a body designed to be aerodynamic from the get go. Then add a 7000kv+ motor and a high capacity high discharge 3s battery and give it a go (other combinations are available). I would go with the Bugatti Chiron approach (drop off with open back), they are only going for 250Mph with Speedtail and I suspect the “Tail” branding may have influenced the design.
  16. I don't know brushed motor man math but I would recommend the lowest FDR possible and small fan if you are worried about heat. I think I'm running 66/25 with a 7000kv brushless and it's hitting about 45Mph on the straight at the track. Admittedly it's a little too much but still very enjoyable to drive The wheels and tyres are HPI Vinatge: https://wheelspinmodels.co.uk/s/?q=HPI+Vintage
  17. Now tell me about that motor And do you have a link to the results from the day?
  18. Unlucky , any idea what let go? That is one tasty looking motor Do you have a link to the results?
  19. The more FF03 action the better I've just done a complete rebuild on mine but not setup for speed running, well until someone beats it..... It would be nice to hit over 90 on 2s. With the magic smoke either could let it out but the motor would have given up quickly if it couldn't handle the voltage. The motors seem to be relatively random and very few of the racing grade ones advertise that can handle over 2s but most do. I suspect that the sensor boards are the limitation but I've not lost must sleep over it, well apart from the fairly significant Speed Passion motor and Castle Cremations ESC fire (bench testing the motor on 3s at my friends house, he wasn't happy). It's the ESC that deserves a medal as your pretty much running worst case high Kv, high voltage and a low final drive ratio. Hobbywing specify max 2S -8.5T, 3S -13.5T and I'm sure that somewhere in the small print will be a do not about running a low FDR. Has the car been cutting out form overheating? As your sensored the ESC should have a thermal a cut out for both the motor and the ESC but in general a fan is always a good idea and ideally you don't want the motor sustaining over 80 degrees c. I'm very tempted to get myself a fancy GPS GoPro, do you know if the speedometer graphic updates for over 90Mph?
  20. Great run dude! I'm amazed that the ESC hasn't let the magic smoke out though and also glad that your carrying that heavy camera. If you did not know my run was on 2s so maybe that evens it out
  21. I've got a TT02R that I want rid off. It's got some extra Hop Ups, carbon front and rear shock towers, Yeah racing motor mount and few other bits. I also have a M05V2r with a few extras that I want to sell.
  22. Yes 500,000 and It does auto calculate, I would be happy to post a few more if there are any requests from anyone. You want standard size touring car shocks, I run the black coated TRF (same as Nicadraus) that I later added big bore springs to. I would swap out the Carbon reinforced deck and go for a Steering set 54235 and Carbon link 54261. This footage is a little boring but here's mine on the track last summer, I didn't realise at the time that the cross shafts in the diff were broken in half, it still drove awesome as usual
