  1. I would be interested in the wheelie bar if nobody else wants it. Hopefully I will be having a massive sort out of my loft and boxes of stuff so hoping I can put some more stuff on this thread.
  2. Hey Juhunio. Please could I take them?
  3. Cheers Juls. They are a bit scuffed and wanted a backup set for shelfing.
  4. By the looks of things, credit goes to @Juls1 and the thorough damper thread I had come across during my searching. Looks as part number 19804414 / 9804414 is compatible with 54028 (aeration shocks) which measure the same as the DF03.
  5. Thanks. It might help svenb. I have the DF03 shocks and have the measurements but I'm not sure what the measurements are for parts 19804414 / 9804414. So I don't know if they will fit or if there are alternatives that will. According to Tamiyabase, I ideally I need someone with one of the following chassis to hopefully shed some light: TRF201 TRF418 TRF419
  6. Cheers. The internal diameter of the existing threaded spring retainer is 10.5mm. The body of the shock is 11.5mm at the top under the cap. The lower part of the shock, the diameter is 10.5mm. Hopefully this helps.
  7. it's taken me a long time to get this far. Just wish I could find details on the diametre they are for. I know the DF03 are 10mm in diameter but info on these retainers is minimal
  8. Thanks Juls but it's the retainer part that screws down to adjust the spring that I need. Like this:
  9. Hi All, I'm looking for some replacement alloy spring retainers for 53926. I'm struggling to find out if the ones I have found are the correct fit or if they are for the big bore alloy dampers. The ones I have found are 19804414 9804414. I know the 54028 shock set is the same size as the 53926 as well. Any advice would be much appreciated.
  10. Selling a used a lot of 3Racing alloy parts. Incudes: Steering Turnbuckle Prop shaft Prop shaft cups Front bumper Motor mount Front bumper is scuffed up but the other parts are in excellent condition. I'm after £18 posted to UK. Payment via PayPal friends and family please.
  11. Managed to find that the black parts are "V" parts so I have located those. Could still do with some instructions and details of the other parts used if possible. Thanks in advance.
  12. Hi All. I'm after a list of the damper parts (specifically the black plastic) that come within this set please. I've picked up a used set but they don't come with all of the bits from the black parts trees and I would like to have some other options. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  13. Received my DF03 stickers from MCI today. Overall pleased with the quality. Very small problem that they have agreed to sort but looking forward to putting them to use.
  14. If you want something that will never break, I would go with the xtra speed part. I have had an a5 part break on mine when using the brace but I did a nose dive off a skate ramp The next option I would use would be the e-clips and shafts. The part number for the bag is 53301. Perhaps a combination of those and a brace would be good. Great car by the way
  15. Hi all. I recently made a purchase with MCI and wondered if I could get some thoughts/opinions from you please. I came across the following set (and ordered): But I'm now worried about the quality as the image is not good. Areas of white, black and blue are missing and terrible. I thought it was just the website but when I later viewed the following ones, realised something else might be going on as they look much better quality: Will the DF03ms stickers really turn out that bad or will they be more like the tt02b ms stickers? I'm not expecting tamiya quality but based on the image of the DF03ms stickers, they don't look like they are worth printing. Any thoughts/views would be greatly appreciated.
  16. I wish I could say it was fun for me. I'm not afraid to admit that I get frustrated trying to figure things out sometimes
  17. Well, no update from me as I haven't had a chance to look at the dark impact running gear and haven't been able charge my batteries for another session. Perhaps having too many interests plays a part in this. I did have a chance on my lunch hour to play around with making a miniature Thunder Dragon kit box.
  18. Admittedly not my idea. Inspired by the scale miniature boxes @IBIFTKH makes but wanted to do a Thunder Dragon for myself. Might make a selection to join the rest of the thunder shot family.
  19. Accidentally stumbled across these and couldn't resist. Just had to get me some
  20. I'll let you know. Hopefully will get a chance over the weekend to provide a run down whilst pushing it around and moving the wheels manually. It's hard sometimes with this hobby if you don't have something to compare it to in front of me.
  21. No haven't got a one way diff. Just out of the box parts. OK, so you agree that it is a problem as well . Yes perhaps the wrong way around. Will take a look. Thank you for your help. It's been doing my head in and I don't really know what I'm doing
  22. I think there might be something else that isn't right. Need to do some research on DF03 as when the rear is in the air and I roll it along by hand on front wheels only, the rear wheels move as well. When the front is in the air and I roll it along by hand on back wheels only, the front wheels don't move at all. Doesn't seem right to me.
  23. Refreshed list: 1. Fit coloured wheel nuts to lads WT01 and DF03. 2. Fit damper rods on the Thunder Dragon shelfer and the runner to avoid A5 parts cracking. 3. 3D print a display stand I've designed. Tweak for different required heights. 4. Ponder some more about whether I can justify DF03 shock upgrade for my Dark Impact. 5. Dismantle rear of DF03 and investigate issues. 6. Still need to sort all parts out
  24. Also hoping it assists with my shelf queen TD 👍
