Hi @Matt88 I use a Futaba T4EXA stick Transmitter for my 3 speed Tamiya Ford F350 Hi-Lift. (an older version of the Futaba 4YWD 2.4GHz Transmitter), which has a shift gate fitted similar to the one @Flerbizky mentioned. I would also recommend a shift gate if you got the more upto date Futaba 4YWD 2.4GHz Transmitter or similar. I find it really useful for changing gears and also remembering which gear I'm in lol. I don't know what make my gate is because it came already fitted to the Transmitter when I bought it second hand, but it looks exactly the same as the one in @Flerbizky link.

Hi, I am in the UK and I have an old Futaba 4EX 4 channel Transmitter I am running my Tamiya Ford F350 Hi Lift with. The problem I have is it came with an old 1000mah 8 in a row AA NiCad battery pack with a JR/HiTech connector (I think), which now is only lasting 30 minutes or so. I have seen suitable larger mah packs for sale but wondered if I can I use a lipo pack without any modification to the transmitter. Obviously I would have to consider the size of the pack. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

Something a bit Different
in Other makes
Posted
Found this recently.
Taiyo Edge Freestyle BMX.
Thought it would be nice to have something a bit different.
It's in great condition and a runner, or cycler ha ha.
I was surprised how big it was when it arrived. The figure is 12 inches tall, the BMX is 12 inches long and the wheel diameter is 4 inches.
Bit too big to put on the back of my F350 then ! :))
