  1. I bring my Blitzer Beetle to the beach. With Proline Sand Paws in the back and the stock tires up front, lipo, and a 7.5t brushless motor it's an absolute blast! Untitled by Joe, on Flickr
  2. Yeah, they fit both the front and rear stock wheelas perfectly, which isn't always the case as you know with the odd size of the front wheels. They are maybe 8-10mm taller than the stock tires and they grip really well on just about all terrain.
  3. Fresh wheels and tires on my Blitzer Beetle. Proline Trenchers in the back and Proline Prisms on the front. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr
  4. Just finished the final episode of season 2 and thought it was brilliant. So much better than any of the last three movies that were released after the original trilogy. I liked Rogue One, but the Mandalorian is the best!
  5. I keep everything. Too many times in the past have I suffered sellers remorse. I've collected toys, records, old skateboards, rc stuff, motorcycle stuff, comic books, etc. and I can recall at least one item out of all those categories I've sold and now regret. When my daughter is old enough to go to college or get married (ugh, the thought of that makes me nauseous) I'll sell off some of my collectible things but until then,, unless I lose my job or suffer some other financial hardship, I'll hold off.
  6. Power HD servos are great. Cheap, reliable, and plenty of torque. I have them in a bunch of my cars and trucks and haven't broken any yet.
  7. Thanks! They're not pine cones, I think they're seed pods from a nearby maple tree.
  8. I haven't updated this in awhile so I figured I would post some photos from over the summer. 9. Cleaned up my workbench, sorta. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr
  10. Love the Frog and love where you're going with this build!
  11. it was thirty years ago, I don't remember doing the stickers. Probably what you would think a 12 year old kid would do, haha!
  12. My first new Tamiya kit when I was 12! Wish I still had it.
  13. Once you go LiPo you'll wish you did a long time ago.
  14. They are a cool company. I have a Porsche 917 long sleeve I got a few years ago from them. I missed out on the Sand Scorcher.
  15. Wow! That's the cleanest looking wiring job I've ever seen! The matching color wire braiding is sharp! Well done, sir!
  16. Yes, it's certainly a mess, with President "I take no responsibility" at the helm. Scary times for sure.
  17. 100 percent agree. Couldn't of stated it better myself. He's a self serving, callous, pathetic excuse for a human being, let alone a President. I have a daughter in elementary school and my wife teaches middle school so I get a double dose of anxiety when it comes to school this year. I'm hoping they go back to remote learning for the fall but we shall see.
  18. Ugh, don't get me started on the politicization of the virus... The clown in charge did nothing about this virus for months. Nothing. It's sick.
  19. What body are you planning to run on this car?
  20. Yes, the Team Blue Groove lexan body has taken a lot of abuse. It's a nice thick lexan shell.
