[Restoring my old Big Bear]

The parts where printed on a Ultimaker 3 using black PLA. I havn't had much luck with ABS which is why I choose to put a steelplate in the middle since PLA and motorheat might be an issue. 

In the first picture the endplates are missing and the middle steelplate was printed in PLA. I have ordered the steelplates but it might take a few weeks before they are ready

So here it is in its current state - I'll show the individual components later. The gearbox is actually turned the wrong way in this picture.

Hi

I'm currently designing a new gearbox for the big bear that uses tamiya grashopper gears and bearings. I have printed all the parts but I still need to have three steelplates lasercut to test it. If it works I will make the 3D design avialable through shapeways or similar. I have two versions of the gearbox one with an 18T pinion and one that uses the long lunchbox pinion. I have also made som new rims that fits with lunchbox tyres. I'll post some pictures of the actual gearbox in its current state later.
