Hi all, My Manta Ray rear gear case has split. Is the red TA-02 rear gear case stronger than the black DF-01 rear gear case? Wanted to ask before I purchased a replacement. Cheers

The colour is Core RC's Neon Yellow CR611. Fronts - TrackStar Aluminum Big Bore Shock Absorber Set 68mm Rears - TrackStar Aluminum Shock Absorber Set 100mm The 68mm front shocks are a little short, ideally they would need to be 70mm but that size is not available. I moved the front shocks to the inner hole to make up for the slightly short shock length, car drives great.

Thanks guys. I thought I would start a thread on these shocks as they are so cheap yet a quality product. £20 for the set of 4.

Just upgraded the black CVA shocks on my DT-03 with the metal Trackstar shocks from Hobbyking. My DT-03 I built recently after getting back into Tamiyas after a 20 year absence (Owned a ThunderDragon). The Trackstar shocks look and feel great, however the black CVA's are very good anyway so only a small improvement with the new shocks. With the original black CVA's With the new Trackstar shocks

I have just stripped and rebuilt a Manta Ray (DF01). I purchased a Turnigy Nano-Tech "Stick Pack" but it wont fit the Manta ray battery compartment, it's too big. What battery would you recommend? I'm thinking about going back to Nimh but would prefer Lipo. Thanks

I have seen this German company on my google searches, they do lots of screw kits but none for the DF-01 unfortunately. Model - Manta Ray DF01 How kind! However I won't bother you if I can find a screw kit somewhere. Will get in contact if I have no joy. Cheers This sounds perfect, will have a search now.

Is it possible to buy replacement screw kits? Just purchased a DF-01 and would like to use all new screws to replace the 27 year old originals.
