hay peeps, i have a GWS MC2002 MICROPROCESSOR QUICK CHARGER, now it says its will charger a battery between 50-3000 mah, all the batterys i have are 3000mah, but am looking at geting a few more, am i restricted to 3000mah with this carger, or can i get some high mah??? also how do i check a battery is charged properly, is it as simple as putting a multi meter on the battery?? if so im assuming a charged batterys should be around 7.2v??? thanks for any help, snake

cheers for the offers of msc's guys, i recived one in the post this morning so cheers mad ax. has been fitted and truck is much better now, been out and ran 3 batterys throu it all ready, there back on charge as were going to take the dog, and truck up the woods later today :-), is there any free way of build a make shift fail safe? gona go throw me new silver cans in it now, as i think the one in the front has had some abuse in the past cheers snake

hay all, well the new wheels i orderd last week came today they are 2.2 Mudrock beadlock from junfac, fitted them on and they look great but they have a diffrent offset to the original wheels, and they narrow the track a bit, and also the front are very close to rubbing, i fear that when driving and bounsing about the tyres will rub, will these wheel wideners be to much from junfac? cause if not i will put them on my shopping list :-) junfac link cheers snake

ok, so i have tired that and seams to have done the trick, next question, i thaught that msc had 3 speeds forward and 3 back, and thats what the contact patchs are for? yet i only seam to have the top most speed, the arm has to hit the last metal pad before i can go any were, so no slow speed :-( is there any thing i can do, or has this msc had it and ill just have to make do with it untill i can afford a esc?? yea iv had front end lift up a few times, thou to be honest its been a reverse to forward jobby :-) really looking forward to having it running properly with a decet speed controller weather it be msc or esc :-) snake

yo, they have been fitted upside down cause of clearence issues, the blue/rear shock tower has a lot more height were the shock fits, three holes high rather then one, so had to gone on up side down, wasnt done by me btw this is how i got it, the truck is in fair condition, few bolts and things need replaceing but generally good, thou its obvious its had a good bashing in its life, but no worse then im gona give it, not had time to strip to check for bearings will do tomoro, also stock are the drive shafts diffrent between the front and rear, the rears are a lot thincker then the fronts heres pics of msc, thanks in advance for the help,

hay all, well my wild dagger turned up to day off FERRETTI, had a quick look over it, and added a steering servo and a servo for the msc's, have run a few batterys threw it and the truck was a hit instantly i love it, evan thou i have a few issues, one of them is the front shock tower and right hand shock are both bent, the tower has be strightend at some point and the shock aint that bad, but i will replace both as soon as funds allow (mrs lost her job so need her to get new one before more cash to be spent) now because of the money issue i have, i am going to have to use the msc for a short (i hope) time, the problem i have is i have never used one before (i think thats lucky :-) ), i have managed to attach a servo and run a few batterys threw the car but i have a few issuses, the throw of the servo is more then that of the msc arm, so i either have it that on full throttle msc arm goes past the contact pad, or i have it do the same in reverse! is there any way of changine this? maybe adjusting the link arm between the servo and the msc? any help would be good tonite im gona pull the truck apart and see if it has ball bearings and grease up the gears etc, put a couple if new silver can in it and rebuild for more play time tomoro, (off sick at the moment, so no work for another couple of weeks) cheers snake

not recomending these as not used them, but i have been eyeing them up my self, ebay search (worldwide), "Rustler Stampede Tmaxx 100mm aluminum reservoir shocks" , its in the shops inventory :-) hope this helps snake

hay people iv been looking at esc tonite, has any one used NOVA Leopard electronic speed controller? its a single motor no limit controller, will this be ok to run 2x17t motors? cheers for any help you can give, snake

that is very cool indeed, must admit i havnt got my wd yet but i do like the idea of the twin battery mod, see a couple of chassis i like :-) but the carbon on u have is very cool ;-)

i dont know it all, in fact i know very little but here what i know (or what i think i know), the lower the turn the more rpm the motor has but you get a drop in torque but you can then get more wires, so a 15x1 is 1 wire wraped arund the armature 15 times, but a 15x2 is 2 wires wraped around the armature 15 times. as far as im aweare this 2 (or 3rd or 4th) wire give more torque. i personally just buy cheap motors, but i dont race, i do have some rebuildable motors but i baught them cheap (5 12x4 motors in a box with spare brushs and a couple of spare armatures for a tenner :-) ) but i dont rebuild them or touch them at all the one thing i never did look it to is how ttiming affects a motor, and how to time the motor hope this doesnt confuse you more snake ;-)

as title, im after tt-01 one parts, any thing conciderd :-) iv just built up a tt-01 carbon chassis, so looking for parts for this, and to build back up a standard chassis tt-01 cheers snake

lol init, i just seen the diffrence in price, went on the Ansmann Racing web site and it dont show if they are timed or not? id say they have zero timing but cant be 100% sure, hope some one replys soon cause i may go for a couple of them rather then the super stock ones for the wild dagger i just baught snake

hay duno about the motors u ask about but if u search "YOKOMO 17 TURN DOUBLE PRO STOCK 11 STOCK MOTOR NEW" on ebay there zero timed, and theres a few diffrent ones on there (diffrent turns) hope the helps snake
