i would deffo say ally prop and speed tuned gears not sure of the gearing as im always **** at ratio's but i just kept changing till i found a ratio i liked! and other mods i would sujest are the Steering Assembly as this gets rid of some of the slop,and the oil shocks as the standard ones are ****, i just baught another tt-01 (cause i think there gr8 :-) ) standard other then bb and i wont run it with out a ally prop cause the standard one is ****, thou im still wating for me prop to come, along with the carbon chassis! i think with a qucik motor i would also advise a heat sink on the motor, just to try keep the temp down :-) but i would advice any mod you do, do it one at a time, so you can see the diffrence, cause your oppinions may be diffrent to mine, snake oh year and motor mount, forgot that one cheers terry

i ran several diffrent motors in my last tt-01 including a couple of 12t motors, ran ok, was quick, think i struggled with gears a little but cant reember, am sure i had a 15t in there at one point and was still quick, made for some good bashing (thats all i ever did with it) so year go for it, drop a 15 in it, and have some fun :-)

hay there, the esc that came with my tt-01 is a forward and brake one, im after the instructions for it, i wana put on ebay but as i have no manual want to supply a like to it, i belive its a mtronics tempo2, heres a picture cheers snake

cheers for the heads up guys, i do feel a bit of a iddiot atm but never mind, at least i have you guys to help me out, some one else could of messed up and not realised and lost out, what my plan of action is as i have already paid im gona wait for it to turn up here, then email him with a few remarks about misleading auctions, and not decribing properly etc.. tell him i want money back etc and i will post item back to him etc.... so any help with what to rite/wording would be appreciated :-) on a good note my tt-01 turned up today, gona be some questions about that but only little things, my last tt-01 was really fun, this one is standard apart from ball raced and sport tuned motor, so gona take it out for a blast and hope me hop ups turn up tomoro :-) just out of interest whats is a protech delta 10 fast charger like? is it a worth wile bit of kit? cheers snake

hay all, duno if any of you remember me but i was on here a while ago, well with one thing and another i stop coming on etc and then slowly stoped lookign ta all, got rid of my couple of cars other then my dark impact which i use every now and then, mainly take to the beach and run then spend a couple of weeks cleaning it lol, well last week i baught a tt-01 on the bay and tonite i baught a grasshopper off e-bay. the tt-01 i have ordered a few hop ups for including a carbon chassis as well the normal ally prop and oil dampers. however the grasshopper wasnt planned and was a very out of the blue buy, i have a couple of other cars i have my eye on as well, but im not sure what to do with the grass hopper, is there any thing that people would sujest? heres a link to the auction, i feel it was quite a good buy (evan a bragin lol) but was wondering if there any thing i should know/think about also is it worth buying any hop ups before i start the build? link cheers the snake

hi all been a while since i have posted, i have a couple of projects on the go and three of them are twin motored projects, however the two im strugeling with is a boat and a custom tracked vechicle im building. i have the same question for each one, what i want is an ecu were i can run two motors that i can control sepratly is this possible? or is it possible to run two ecu and plus the 2nd one in to the steering part of the recever? the reason for this is so that i can use both motors for forward/backward control, and either stop or reverse one of the motors to turn, the motors for both projects will either be a pair of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ATOMIC-MO-001-ST-18-...1QQcmdZViewItem or a pair of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/53930-TAMIYA-1-10-R-...1QQcmdZViewItem i am leaning more towards the 380 as i have some 380 gbox's i can use for the tracked thing. any help will be much apriciated, cheers snake

isnt the stock pinion for the tt01 a 19toothed gear? also the speed tuned gear set isnt there a 55t and a 58t pair of gears, which are both smaller then the 61t standard spur, correct me if im wrong, cheers your local freidnly snake

the other day i was board on ebay, found some new 3 racing stuff for the tt-01, in the shape of theres http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...p;rd=1&rd=1 but as u can see they wouldnt fit with the gpm diff covers i had to file the carbon to match the blue alloy! before and heres the result i hope you like it, cheers your local freindly snake

if it helps i use an rs one, from the rs cataloge, will dig out the details in a bit, been using it for the last 5 or 6 years, works well, has interchangable ends, can be used as a blow torch etc, hope this help, your local freindly snake

hay all, i have ran a couple of batterys throu my new built df 03, and im really impressed, been running it in my back garden, i moved in to my house 9/10 months ago, and not mowed the lawn yet (more important things to do, plus winter) so as u can imagine its quite over grown, and it just plows threw, getting stuck every now and then, but nothing reverse or a wiggle of the steering wont sort out! but my question refers to the diffs, is it possible to over tighten them? if so how do i know? also the motor (stock for now, has green and yellow wires, and my esc bule and white, which goes to which, the reason being its faster in reverse, its able to wheel spin in reverse were it cant going forward! cheers your local freindly snake

iv tried to save the dark impact shell, but its not the best job in the world, how ever my g/f said she would get me a new shell to create the master piece i want, so for now iv had some good practice, and have a nice (ish) looking basher shell! again comments welcome cheers your local friendly snake
