hi you also have the front and rear stabiliser set, and adjustable upper arms, and also u have a set of gpm oil dampers, speck looks similar to mine, i would take the diff covers off and see if you have a ball diff in the rear, and a one way diff in the front? hope this help

hay all, i have just finished changing all my connectors to the deans type, thought i would clean my chassis a bit, started to look at my chassis and have been wondering if its worth bloking off the slots under the motor, it lets alot of dirt dust and stuff in which cant be good for the motor! so would there be any problems with doing this? would it affect cooling? picture shows the slots im talking about, the next question is to do with my motor heat sink and fan, the fan has two positions it could fit on, but im not sure were the best place to have it is, the picture shows were its ran at the moment, but the fan can sit more forward, which would be the best? also is there any thing else i can do to maintain the temprature of the car, and also maintain run time etc, cheers for any help you can provide, your local friendly snake

iv just spent the evening changing all my batterys to deans connections, i was wondering if its worth changing the motor connections to deans as well. also iv made a lead to connect the batterys to the charger with tamiaya conection on the charger end, due to my mate using this charger as well, will there be any problem charging this way cheers your local friendly snake

hay what other mods have u done to your car? i have a tt-01 with ball bearings, alloy prop, alloy oil dampers, universal shafts, rear ball diff, adjustable upper arms, front and rear stabiliser set, carbon top deck, adjustable steering, and ball bearing steering link, also i have a carbon rear lower deck, and i have ran a 21t pro stock, a 15x2, and currently a 12x2, all have ran with standard gearing, and the 12x2 with a 55s and 24p, and all i have to do is keep a stop of new gears, i have found that the standard gearing give awsome acceleration with the 12x2 in it, thou i am hoping to do some more tirals with gearing soon :-)

some stuff is needed thou, like the alloy center prop, and ball race, also its worth having adjustable steering set up as well!

ok, all of that makes sence, so the next question woul be what gearing should i run? im a novice at all this so may seam like silliy things to you but to me its important! the deans conectors are they easy to get hold of? and simple to fit? i will be changing the esc to a no limit one when funds permit, so this should make a diffrence as well????? is there any thing else i should consider? maybe a cooling fan for the esc. all the batterys i run are 3000mah and are all about 6 months old, and are regually fast charged with the occasinal slow charge! cheers your local friendly snake

hi all, my tt-01 after 5 mins of play in the house, with a almost flat battery the msc is very hot, as are the wires from the battery to the esc, the motor isnt hot thou (but it does have a heat sink with a fan). the car has ball race, alloy prob, a mtronicsonic 4 esc with an 11 turn limit, a 12x2 motor, and iv just fitted a 24 tooth pinion, and a 55 tooth spur because on the standard gearing it was getting hot as well. cheers for any advice, your local friendly snake

hay, im having problems with wheels, i baught a job lot of about 5 sets of wheel and tyres from ebay, and they all rub on the bottem whisbone of the suspention! do rc wheels have a off set's? if so whats the right wheels for a tt-01, and also im after some hod rod style rims, larger diameter for the rear does any one make these? cheers, your local friendly snake

ok i have a hopped up tt-01 one, ball rased, alloy prob, aloy oil filed shocks, carbon top deck, and a 12 x4 motor to name a few, my question is what gear's pinion and spur size's should i be runing with the set up?? i have the spur set and an alloy moror mount, but need the new pinion gear to suit so what size do i need?? thanx your local friendly snake

hay, i have a tt-01 and i would advice getting a ball bearing set, the alloy center shaft, a set of oil shocks, and adjustable stearing tie rods, for the knocking check the drive shafts, the little pin (see below) moves and rubs against the hub/turnblucke i had this trouble on mine, a set of swing shafts are a good buy to stop this

i have a 11t Mtroniks sonic 4 RV11 ESC, and was wondering how this would cope with a TEAM ORION MODIFIED MOTOR 12X4, i figure it should be ok but just wanted to check will i get any problems runnin this in a tt-01, the car has ball bearings, alloy center shaft, steel swing shafts, oil dampers, sdjustable steering (ball bearings), alloy hubs, alloy damper plates, motor heat sink and fan, a carbon fiber upper mount and a rear stabiliser and adjustible upper arms thanx for any advice, your loacal friendly snake

on my tt-01 i keep having a problem with the drives shaft, the ones that fits in to the diff. the problem im having the small pin that fits in to the cup moves and then catchs on the turnbuckle things! is there any way of stopping it moveing? thanx your local friendly snake

thanks for all the advice, i have completly striped the car down, and am using a solvent cleaner called FE10 we use it at work and is good stuff, as for the motor i have some cleaner from work to use with it! also i have some fresh grease for every thing! i noticed the screws in the which bones are starting to rust and bind so i will replase these! the bush's (sp?) in the motor are worn but lots of life in them, is it worth cutting the worn bit off??

my tt-01 car park basher started making a noise, like something was catching on sumit else, the car is very mucky, dirty, so i decided to strip it down and clean it all up. first thing i have noticed us that the beastings in the rear hubs are starting to go rusty, so i figure new ball bearing set, and the motor is coverd in ****, as is the pinion and the metal motor mount, it seams the gear box cover bit doest seal all that well, what im wondering is whats the best thing to clean every thing? is there any thing i can spray the motor with to clean that up? whats the best stuff to clean the rest of the car with? is there any thing else i should be doing while its stripped down? thanx for any help, your local friendly snake

hay, i baught a kit from ebay a tt-01 i intended on keeping for spears for my xb tt-01, it came with full instructions but just the chassis part of the kit, so i spent a couple of hours bulding it up and then stipping it down due to a noisey rear diff. im please with the result, the chassis looks good, not as good as my hopped up one but good. im really impressed with the way the kit is built, and how easy it is, the only thing that let it down is the ammount of stuff left on the parts trees that i cant explain, some stuff that i have twice but stuff that i can work out what its off, it doesnt evan look like it should be on a tt-01, now i have the bug i wana build sumit else! im thinking of a off road type thing, like the off road buggys so i was wondering which is a good buy, sumit for a begginner that will go semi off road but can have a bit of punch in it. the reason i have this is because i have a big back yard with a lot of grass so it needs pleantly of ground clearance! cheers your local friendly snake

i have a tt-01 with alloy prob, ballraced, adjustable rear uprights, rear stabiliser, carbon upper deck, alloy hubs, racing steering (bearing) with adjustable tir rods, and a 13x2 turn motor! the problem im having is its eaten my tyres, one has come off the rim, with only 5 or 6 batterys ran threw it! so i need some tyres that will last a little longer! iv had the car for about two or three months, and am on my 3rd set of wheels! the first two sets i destryed due to inexperiance and curbs lol, but now i can keep away from the curb the tyres are just not lasting! please help thanx your friendly local snake
