Any recommendations for the 13.5t brushless motor

Cool thanks guys, never thought at 8 and his first ever rc he would even be able to handle in stock form but he just wants it to go faster!!! I need to get me one now, I’m looking at a second hand Schumacher, hope it’s fasrer than his!!

Sorry all not sure what cogging is but looks like I should be looking for a 13.5t brushless motor and a 17t steel piñon gear

Just seen that the combo that you are talking about includes esc sorry for the dumb questions. Last I did RC was 25+ yrs ago

Thanks wolfdogstinkus 1. Am I still ok with Nimh with this or do I need LiPo also will the Tamiya speed controller be ok with this 2. Cool should I have 17t or 19t 3. Bearings not done yet, should have done during build with hindsight but so they make that much difference also where can I get for only £6

Hi as a new member I am after a bit of advice, I bought my 8yr son a racing fighter for Xmas, I thought it would be to quick for him to handle so left completely standard, after only 2 runs he has totally mastered it and I am looking for the best upgrade options to get some more speed. I don’t want to spend a fortune as he may lose interest although I hoping not as I can relive some youth with this hobby.
