  1. Well, it appears Radshape do still have some chassis left!

When I contacted them, I was advised they don’t have any and don’t have any plans to make any more batches. Then, within days, they are listing them on eBay!

Thank you for all your replies guys, really appreciated. The Sand Scorcher will be up and running soon..pics to follow!

Can't help with one of mine, sorry

If you don't have any luck, try Radshape direct - although they might not have them on their site they might be able to find you one

So, I rang Radshape as no response to my email. unfortunately they no longer have any of their SRB chassis in stock and there are no plans to produce them again.

i have seen their chassis pop up on eBay before now so I’ll just keep looking...fingers crossed!

  3. Hi all,

Well after many years away from the hobby, I find myself with a new Sand Scorcher!

I’m looking to upgrade the Scorcher to how my previous car was.

So, first upgrade is either the Twinset (if any are still around!) or Radshape alloy chassis. Prefer the alloy chassis but the black anodised would be ok.

Also looking for CRP shock upgrade too. I may have to go down the RC channel route if nothing available.

Anyway, if anyone has anything please let me know.

    Many thanks.

  5. Hi all,

    i have for sale a FAV re-re.

It has been built to resemble a desert baja buggy. It has original Wild One shocks fitted front and rear.

No radio gear, only a Futaba steering servo.

Has had hardly any use, tyres still show join line down the centre.

Looking for £85.00 posted or i will break as if enough interest.

I can't as yet get the home page to list in my member section hence listing here.

    Any questions, please ask!

I would consider a swop with possible cash dependant on conditio/age, for a SCX Honcho less body.

    Many Thanks,

    Andy

  6. Hi Chris,

I also echo everyones 'Thanks' in sorting out the problem that occurred. These things happen, not a nice experience however, at least we still have a useable site following the problem.

Just to add, i have managed to log into the forums however, can't get onto the home page at all? Is there a way around this?

    Many thanks,

    Andy

  7. UPDATE......

Well, i have finally had time to investigate the 'binding' of my wheel.

Ii appears that when i removed the hex, the four little pertruding parts of plastic on the rear of the hex (the side that the pin goes in) were lomger than the other three? The original 'Pajero/Hilux' rims never fouled up but for some reason this 'odd' hex was causing the problem. I checked the other three hex's; two had shorther 'bits' the other one had the same 'longer' pertruding parts. This was on the near side rear and rotated ok. So. i put the hex's with the shorther bits on the front and the hex's with the longer bits on the rear. Amd hey presto!, all wheels turn ok!

Never come across this before but i thought I would update the thread in appreciation of your advice.

    Cheers.
