Hi im not even a subscriber ( no money!!!) but soon hope to be. I love looking through the pic comps like the fire one, wheelie one and latest rally on tour etc etc . I really enjoy looking at the movie section to see different types of movies i.e themed, tamiya promo style and exotic style. A competition movie section be great . It gives everyone the oppitunity to get there director, editor and driving skills into action. I cant wait till im a subscriber when i do i'll enter. Keep up the good work. Hi , i would be interested depending on price. I do have a couple of questions 1 will it fit the VW race CC01? 2 is it the 2 flat plastic bits at the rear on either side that holds axel, chassis and suspension togeher? Many thanks Ryan

Hi i remeber a show when i was about 9 or 10 (me being 28 now) called record breakers and i remember them having the record breaker r/c buggy jumper on the show doing little jumps over Audience members and crew. Hi and welcome. Ive only got 4 cars (vw race touareg, bush devil , pumpkin and original lunchbox) and my son has 2 cars King blackfoot and tl01 subaru. Hi cheers for the info you lot. I wont put any inserts in them. Didnt realise they were that tough. Can the rear suspension arm (flat bit that comes down from the chassis to the lower part of rear axel) be changed for a 3 or 4m threaded rod with ball connectors on. I hope so as they look and feel extremly fragile especialy if you hang up when on a trail. P.s Thanks everyone. Ryan

Hi all, I have just got a touareg vw race cc-01 and was wondering what tyre insert you use or do you use a little home made mod insert (foam, pipe insulation, soft thick rubber)in the bfg tyres. I want to put inserts in to save the tyres and give better grip. Any info would be very valuable to me[] Cheers all Ryan

He said he was down sizing his house. I thought i would never get a chance to try one of these beautys. Its not just about around the rough ground. These are about trials. Hi,I bought a new built VW race toureg from carboot sale and its got a brand new 40mhz acoms ar2 40 am rx[] (its pretty small) All my gear is 27mhz so couldnt use it well that didnt stop me[]. Anyway i had to strip out my bush devil's rx . So need another 27 rx so please if anyone can help. its brand new can send pic if needed just email. Straight trade please Many thanks Ryan

Hi all seen a few posts where members say about oiling there motors up and it keeps the screeching in check but they have never really gone into detail. I have a couple of questions as i have never really thought about my motors like that[:I]. What oil do you use? Can you oil all types of motors inc 540 stock cans? Any help would be ideal as want to keep all my motors even silver cans in good running speck. Cheers All Ryan

Ideal jozza it has got a frequency type set of numbers on it like on tx's and rx's . I have tested it using a output meter with 2 prong things you touch to resistors and the such. I told you i was a novice ). I will go and search maplin. Cheers all Ryan

Hi all, i am a novice electronics user ,anyway i like to fix stuff of my own like tv's, video players , ps2's well anything electronic so i dont have to pay extremely high prices at my local tv repair place[!] and i get a buzz of acheivement out of it. I am currently trying to fix my sons dvd tft car dvd player small thing with flip up lid. I tested everything and everything except for this gives any reading but i dont know for the life of me what it is[?]. Hi i am really miss using my basher bush devil[]. I stripped one of the hex's by using it as a party game for sons 6th birthday .The game was a timed take down of 8 cones funyy as badword to watch [)]. Anyway does anything available now use the same hex's as im missing the old devil. Any ideas would help as i have searched every where. Someone mentioned the savage hex's but wouldnt that be to big? Hi i have a subaru tl01 rolling chassis fully ballraced, tierod hopup , reedy 15x2 motor, subaru and lexus body shells, subaru wheels and its ready to just add radio. It has been used but still in good condition except the front of the subaru body is a bit tatty. Hi dont really know where to put this but here goes. I want to mod the tl01 chassis with xc, ford 150, blazing star or carson pick up tyres. frabrcate a couple of suspension stays and longer oil shocks on it like the manta ray or similar front shocks on it say 60 to 80mm. But the main thing is can i put a cordless 550 motor in it for more torque or is it geared to high i want to make a semi trail truck creation or is there another way to get more torque or just grip[?]. I want to have a scale looking truck like the f150 or pre runner so i can bash it on a course like in the 80's tv hit kick start but with tamiya creations[]. lts of obstacles which are situated on different levels and using alsorts of materials to create courses, balancing, little jumps from one ledge to another, rope bridges alsorts of stuff. i was going to use a kids climbing frame or builders mini tower as my main suport and would beable to make it on different levels so negotionating between levels would be fun[]. but i want to have a scale truck with plenty of torque and a little acceration for bursts of speed to get me out of trouble[]. I want to use the tl01 chassis as its in abundence on ebay and very cheap and ive got plety of parts already[8D]. Any ideas would help and its going to be a laugh doing it. Cheers all Ryan

Hi all, Just a small story. just got back from helping my missus look after her recovering mum. We had to stay in a caravan and i thought i would take a couple of cars to pass the time so i took 2 TL01's one with subaru shell (My sons car) and one with a focus shell, well these are used for bashers. After wrecking my charger from charging 3 packs in the caravan[] i thought i would take the boy out and use these packs. So we found a sutible location just off from the caravan park car park. Me and the boy set about having a jest in the car park, about 10 mins into the run this bloke wanders over using a zimo frame to walk, i thought hear we go he's going to moan about the noise or something but to my surprise he came and stood next to me and started saying about how he bought his son one those cars when he was about 10. so i asked him what it looked like and he said he had to help him build it and it was an orange beach buggy with a cowboy driving it. Well i told him that it sounded like a sand rover and it was made by tamiya He replied by saying "yeah boy thats right i remember now". I proceeded to ask if he still had it and he explained that it was many moons ago and his son now lives in scotland. Anyway we chatted for a while about tamiya in general when he said his son never let him have ago as he didnt trust him so i thrust the controller in his hand and said dont worry about breaking this as its my basher. I tell you what i have never seen an old gentlemen smile and giggle like that in my life. Anyway he used it until i heard someone shouting charlie he turned to me and said "well boy thats the wife calling better be off this is made my holiday" and off he wandered smiling from ear to ear. Me and my son wandered back to the caravan for some tea and i couldnt stop smiling at the sight of him jigging about as he bounced off everything in sight with my car[]. Hi all . I want to remove the double sided stickey pads used for receivers and ESC's . Have removed the ESC so i can reattach it with stronger pads and its left one side of aheisive stuck on my chassis (tl01) and some of the spongey stuff and its left some adheisive on my esc. How can i get rid of this so i start with a shiney clean surface ready for the new pad. Please help as my esc keeps coming unstuck and jumping out the chassis and getting dragged on the ground [].
