Hi all, I need 4 hex wheel fittings, aerial holder and some used rally block tyres . Can trade for some pumpkin body parts front light assemlby, rear tail gate and windows. Hi all, Wish i had lhs like the one near me in paington when i lived in devon i was about 10 yrs old it was brilliant, loads of tamiya models on display, special 959 pit scene with a tamiya 959 as the car well it was fantastic, parts galore i think it was called winners . When we went to paington i would always leg it off and my parents always knew where to find me. Which was drooling over the cars and annoying the staff with questions which they abliged with no hesitation. I am now 28 and a bit gutted as one opened near me about 1 1/2 yrs ago is rubbish. All the people in there are unhelpful, rude, only talk to you if u are in there "club" for racing. When you mention you collect tamiya they look at you as you have a something growing from your forehead. I find this site, all its members, modelsport, ebay and a couple of others a massive god send to me as the closest one which is any good is a 90 min drive each way. Sorry for such along gripe but i wish i had a descent one near me (. Keep up the good work guys Ryan

Hi i just bought a traxxas xl1 or xls 1 ESC from boot sale for a couple of pounds[] tested with a silver can motor and it works fine delighted[]but i was wondering does any one know the spec of this ie turn limit, set up info well anything really. Cheers Ryan

Hi i have a bd with ballbearings, demon speedy 15 t off road motor and lrp ESC (reverse doesnt work but brake a forward are fine. This thing reall shifts but it doesnt have abody as i wrecked it[]. Hi all. I know i am a non subscriber but i would just like to say how good this site is and all who use it. I have been collecting and using [] tamiya stuff for 2 years now (remebering the good old days) and have used this excellent website many many times for many things. I have used the vast range of online manuals, read countless forum posts from many knowledgable members, asked help with quick replies and purchased stuff from tc members. All the people who use this site are very helpful and are quick to offer advice in the hour of need and the range of members rides in there showrooms are superb . I applaude the team behind this site and hope you all keep up the good work and keep it going for many years to come [^]. I just hope i can subscribe very soon as i want to show my cars off []. Hi all Just finished my first proper resto job on a lunchbox and i am delighted with it. i remeber looking in mansels models window when i was akid drooling over this beauty. Any way it is completely stock except for some home made ali body mounts which arent anything special but they do me fine[] i Got the body off a member of TC ( Cheers Steve) . stripped it using dot4 brake fuild added some repro decals but got some originals for its retirement as im going to use this for a while []. Hi all, i love the film 2fast 2furious and i like the skyline at the begining so i thougjt i would create one. Its a tl01 with hpi shell, tamiya f1 acto motor and esc. I have added chassis lights (lights are a bit rough but still only prototype) used blue leds from ultraleds.co.uk. and took jozzas idea for home made neons (works a treat cheers jozza) I have used the bec from the receiver to power them. Well it certainly is a crowd puller at night. Hi all, I have a bushdevil and as i incease the speed ie. bearings, faster motor and ESC the front end is very sloppy and loose on the steering . Any ideas on how to DIY mod this problem or any other way as this s causing me too miss the ramp when im jumping it at speed[] (this is my back garden basher) and making the truck flip on its side all the time [] it is very frustrating. Well just tried the set up as stated in the instructions but still no go. The wires are fine. If it is below 17 turns then thats not very good. I have tried the runner with a 540 silver can and the reverse still doesnt work. Well keep trying. Thanks for all the info jesterdude

Hi all i have been experimenting with the plastic from a 4 litre milk carton(thoughly wasted out)as its cheap, its very flexible and pretty strong. I have made a headlight bucket from it by using the blue peter method of cut and lighly score the plastic to shape required, bend to shape, remember to leave flaps were sides join to stick together and then attach the leds. Back it with foil . leave some flaps to attach to the shell. Seems to be working . Get some pics up when finished. Hope this helps. jesterdude

Hi all i am going to do a fast furious 2 skyline shell with lightening blue chassis lights all over. I have ordered my leds and resistors from www.ultraleds.co.uk its mega cheap and he has a real huge range of products take a look at the website. Im going to use small 9v battery with connector and small electronics wire which i got from maplin electronics online. I hope it all goes well as its my first artistic job with out using a manual paint guide . have fun jesterdude

Hi all i am a newbie to using mod motors as i usually use the sport tuned motor. I have a tl01 chassis with a LRP forward reverse runner ESC and a tamiya formula acto motor the problem is it goes forward no problem (its extremely fast actually well for me anyway[]) the brake works fine but it doesnt go in reverse. Ive tried alsorts that i would normally try with no avail but as i said im a newbie to mod motors so please help. Jesterdude

Hi i am looking for the midnight pumpkin wheelie bar and the small gear case cover (with tamiya on it) that goes on the gearbox of GH , pumpkin or lunchbox gearboxes oppisite the pinion gear. Only pieces left to find please help []. Jesterdude
