Hi All, I am about to strip lunchbox shell using dot 4 halfords brake fluid. I have read everything i can find using the search function and non of them state the best and easy to get hold of primer for using on hard bodies. Please help[]. I am using tamiya yellow ts16 and am in the UK. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Jesterdude

Hi i have a TA02 rolling chassis with skyline speed tuned gear set, I think its a HPI body but i have put original tamiya decals on it. The body is a little rough round the edges but would be ideal for a thrasher body. The chassis is right on and has been used so the usual scratches are on the underneath of chassis. This also comes with 540 motor, mech speed controller, 4wd shaft. This also includes some spare rear gear box housings which are new.Will trade for either a mini rolling chassis with rover mini shell (doesnt matter which shell) or a wild dagger rolling chassis . Hi i am looking for some tamiya yellow spray cans (lunchbox yellow) i have looked everywhere and cant seem to find any[]. If anyone can help dont hesitate to contact me as i really need it to finish my lunchbox. Also could anyone supply me with 2 maybe 3 broken lunchbox body posts as my neighbour is a workshop engineer and has a lathe and mill in his garage and says he will try and make some. Hi im not trying to be funny or sarcastic in anyway but my mate has got the same esc and he couldnt get it to work spent loads of time on it and everything, all he had was a car that moved a fraction when full throttle was applied and the same process in reverse and the steering was really slow at responding. He eventually sold it to me as he said it was cr**. I then proccded to use the car with one of my packs and it worked fine . I found out that he wasnt charging the battery as he was a novice rc car user so i then sold it back to him with a charger for the same price and he is no delighted. I am only drawing on my own experiences with novice rc car users . The lights on his esc flashed independantly (red green red green etc etc) which meant the batt had ran out. Ill give that a shot sounds a laugh. Ill do anything to increase the speed. I love these little trucks they've got there own little dance. Hi all. Anyone ever thought about making a funbox what skaters use. 4 ramps leading to a small platform you could have SRB'S jump display team with tamyiaclub livery doing sinchronized jumping. Jesterdude

Hi again just finished the third shock mod . Took it out for a burn and it has impressed especially as its increased my wheelies by a couple of metres ideal. Seems more rigid on the rear and less sloppy. Cheers. Jesterdude

Hi i had a pumpkin when i was 11 but couldnt remeber what they were like and this year santa left me one under the tree (im 27 now) It has got full bearing kit, mtroniks esc and a tamiya sport tuned motor and it is the most fun thing to drive ever[)]. The wheelies are always a crowd puller. I am just in the middle of doing the 3rd shock on the gearbox mod to it. I am also doing lunchbox resto. I always wanted one of the these babies[]. Hi all hope everybody had a good christmas. mine was very hektic indeed[]. I have a manta ray which is in good condition except for the usual scratches on the bottom of chassis. It has the manta ray ball diff hop up. speed tuned gear set and a new ta01 motor mount. the tyres are in good nick apart from they look like the hot shot ones but hey its a good runner and very quick. It comes with no electrics apart from motor and speed controller.pictures available on request. I would like a pumpkin which is generally sound but needs body resto or even a lunchbox (i wish [][]). Hope someone can help as i am desperate for one[] . Happy new year to u all Ryan.

Hi[] i wondered if anyone can help i wanted to give my bush devil and ta02 gearboxes a good scrub and then put nice fresh grease in. Anyone one got any suggestions of what i can use to scrub /clean them with. Would good old fairy liquid do the job or is it to much of a degreaser and would it leave anything behind after drying which would affect the fresh grease. jesterdude[)]

Hi, [] I bought a ta02 with a calibre shell off ebay and i wanted to just take off the paint on the windows as i like it better clear and the headlights so i can mess around with home made lighting leds, resistors etc. I tried various house hold products and then came across wifes nail varnish remover so proceeded to use it with an old tooth brush in one hand the body in another and away i went []. i dipped the brush in remover stuff and scrubbed at the areas which were painted black (windows, lights etc) and it came off very easy and left it crystal clear. I have checked it a couple times since and all seems well . All i need now is leds and resistors and see where i end up[] (jozza is my inspiration as his pumpkin is funky) jesterdude[)] funfactor

Hi nitromaxx. as far as im aware the bush devil shafts are about 5mmish shorter than the dirt thrasher dogbones . I really want to go off roading[] with the bush devil but its stuck on the shelf.[)]jesterdude

Hi, The plumber had been round to fix the boiler and when i Came home from work today to find he had left a pot of silicone lubricant on the kitchen side board . Is this any good in tamiya gearboxs or any where else on the cars or trucks . Please someone help me as i want to clean the gearboxes on my bushdevil and ta02 calibre and dont want to put this in if its going to cause more friction CHeers all. []jesterdude funfactor

Hi bought these dogbones of the bay and they were for a bush devil but when i got them they are for a dirt thrasher and they are good few mm longer would anyone like to trade with me with some bush devil shafts. I have 4 dirt thrasher shafts. Hope some one can help. Cheers all[)]

Hi all. Is there any materials i can use to scratchbuild parts. I need to build a rear suspension mount that also fits the body mounts on . What materials can i use also where in the uk can i get it. I love this car as its pretty fast but i will make it faster with the usual hop-ups. Cheers All [)]

Hi all just got myself a ta02 calibre and need some vauxhaul racing decals prefrably calibre but dont really mind as long as they are vauxhaul hope some one can help [] Also has any one got drive shafts/dogbones for a bush devil or king blackfoot or any shafts that would fit as bought some off the bay only to find out there for a dirt thrasher gutted.hope some can help .Cheers[]
