Hello all! After rebuilding, cleaning and greasing my ta02 i was really anxious to test it on track. My first impression was that is was rather sloooooowww! i dont remember how fast it used to run back in the old days but i am a bit dissapointed i must say. Are vintage models so slow? can i boost it up a bit? i run on dyna run racing stock motor s540. May have it been that i replaced the factory's speed control with an esc?

i m thinking of replacing the motor for extra performance but i have no idea about KVs, turns, brushless or brushed. Any suggestions please? Also....battery packs and chargers are another blind spot for me. What should be a good type to run with my tao2w? In reasonable prices of course.

There nowhere in stock, neither on ebay nor on shops. Please help if someone holds one. Thank you!

As i proceed more questions come up so.... The motor seemed to be rotating faster to the one direction (the reverse) an much slower to the other (fw), so i had to reverse it. Is it normal or do i need to replace the motor? i use a standard speed control unit (not esc). Is there a chance i can remove the old paint and repaint it? thank you in advance, more questions are to come....

Hello all, I ve been owning a TA02W Supra GT bodyshell since i was a kid and recently started rebuilding/repairing it for my 6yo son. I repaired some broken plastic parts to make it functional again but now i really want to make it as good as new and add some hop up parts. Ebay is my mate to this but i haven t been able to find a new bodyshell to paint it from scatch. The old one is kind of broken and to be honest i hadnt made such a good job when i first painted it. It s a pity because now i realize how beauty she was!!! I will upload photos soon. Need all the help i can get for the bodyshell. Thanks!
