  1. I took a whole weekend preparing, painting and stickering my Lunch Box, only to roll it 1st time out after travelling 5' on the rear wheels. It's now got that lived in look and I don't worry about it getting knocked about so much. It's definitely more fun this way. Shelf queen she ain't!
  2. +1 Get a 2nd shell. And embrace the chaos that is VLB!
  3. Yes Jason, from Modelsport. The Venom 88s are Schumacher buggy rear tyres. they say they are for carpet. The tread is more like a road tyre, I want them for bashing a Blitzer Beetle I haven't bought yet! The outdoor track I go to is tarmac. The standard tyres don't appear to last long on hard surfaces. That's what owners say anyhow...
  4. Just waiting on a video update now
  5. Just ordered a Core 4000mah lipo pack for the Lunch Box and some Venom 88s for a future Blitzer project.
  6. I run a 17 turn brushed in my Lunchbox using the kit TBLE-02S. It works just fine.
  7. Vannessa's Lunch Box. I was 11 in 1987, only had to wait 30 years to get mine. Now living the dream!
  8. Fitted a new Alturn servo in my TT-01 race truck. Much quicker and less slop in the steering now. Race night can't come round soon enough!
  9. I run my VLB with a 17t Yeah Racing hackmoto brushed in mine on the standard TBLE-02s esc. It's fast enough, wheelies like a demon and gives healthy run times on 2100mah Nimh.
  10. Went for a bash at the local outdoor track with some truck racing mates, cold but dry. Had a laugh, broke the Lunch Box's front lower shock eye (tee boned by a Ferrari), managed to carry on with no ill effects to it's "handling". Now all fixed and ready to go again. Handles just as badly now as it ever did and still makes me grin like a idiot!
  11. My "fleet" consists of... TT-01E Hahn Racing Truck. Re Re Lunch Box. TT-02 Lancia Delta Intergrale. Only just got interested in RC after a 25 year break! I'm now 41. I got chatting with the local model shop about the Tamiya Race Truck series at the local RC club. Now Friday nights have meaning again! Cheaper than going down the pub and no headache in the morning. Just have to deal with the Wife raising eye brows when I come home with another new kit. Oh well... Next on the want list are Re Re Blitzer Beetle and DT-03 Racing Fighter.
