  2. I heard that the one I bought was one of the last few in Aus, might have to keep it in its box for a while now.
  3. Just bought myself the last one in a LHS tonight, going to pick it up tomorrow, cannot wait, always wanted one of these back in the day
  4. I also consider myself a long term member, just no where near the caliber of those you have mentioned I have lapsed in and out of the hobby, getting the itch to spend up big and kick start my collection again, if only I had room for them all as it is !. Work commitments and other assorted real life things happen to make you get out of it for a while, but once you have started collecting RC, then you will always come back Here is a question, my member number is 4937, at least thats what it says when you hover over my name, but my showroom ID is 3471 .. How come they are different ?
  5. 1. Avante, always loved that car and never could afford one, time to buy one i think ! 2. Manta Ray - have a re-re still NIB at home in the closet, it wont be going anywhere for a while. 3. Mclaren F1 car - Have always wanted to build one Or one of the half a dozen or so NIBs that i still have sitting around both re-re's and some original stock of some random kits

  8. Nice work Making me want one more and more now
  9. I also get that error on any of the chassis' that I try. Just tried a TT01E and had the same problem. I am guessing its to do with the way that link formats its URL That is what i see as the URL when i try to click on it. Rather then When you click on the chassis list from http://www.tamiyaclub.com/cars_chassis.asp
  10. When I try to click on the link on the car page, that will list what other models use the same chassis as the one I am currently looking at, I get the following error - "An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator." Is this a known issue at all ? I was bored at work, so I decided to include pictures Cheers Chris
  11. Put in a paypal claim for the entire amount including shipping. Why let him have any amount, as he has mislead you with the auction, as its significantly not as described. Go for everything and let paypal sort it out. If he has done it before it will only help your case against him. Do you use a credit card linked to your paypal account, can also try a charge back from your credit card provider as well. Chris
  12. Build a big Pyramid and take them all with me ! Got to have something for the after life
  13. Absolutely ! No Guts no Glory is pretty good too
  14. Where did you find those, I am not able to see them at all, maybe my search skills are rubbish
  15. Absolutely., Need to screw on those wheel nuts somehow Great little tool that, have way more then i can count too hehe
  16. Nice pic that, now they are some fine buggies !

  18. Now who on earth is " Richard Clarkson " ...... Dang those TG guys !
  19. Its a huge shame that most of the RC stuff these days is RTR. I do not get much time to enjoy using my RC cars that I have, so for me the enjoyment comes in the building of them. I never look at RTR cars, and never will buy them, with the execption of things like the Mini T etc etc. For all of my Tamiya and other cars, the best part is being able to build them. Chris
  20. Definitely C My Collection whilst not super huge currently, is a lot more then it would have been, if I had not found this great site

    Double Dare

It wasnt a to bad a price, probably a bit more then it was worth, but its another model i have wanted since i was a kid all those years ago, so to me it was definitely worth it That super champ was terrible hehe... i dont think there would have been anything else to do but laugh at that one

    Double Dare

The front tyres are on the right way now, those pics are the ebay ones not mine Yeah it is true there is no point worrying about it, just annoying that people cant describe what they have, and then lie about things thats all. Oh i hate txt speak !!.. I dont even use txt speak when i am txt'ing someone, never have. At least the car is here and is on display in my living room next to my Porsche GT, Super Clod, and my Mammoth Dump Truck though , and the other half doesnt mind them being in the lounge room on the bookshelves either

    Double Dare

Just thought I would chuck up a pic of my newly aquired Double Dare. Picked it up from eBay, but the seller was pretty useless ( hopefully its noone here ) took forever to post ( read 9 days after i paif for it ) and kept fobbing me off with excuses, still havent decided what feedback i will leave. Anyway its in almost perfect condition, just needs a couple of stickers and a touch of paint to some places, and some front lights and it should be right. They are all the pics i have atm, havent gotten around to taking more, have quite a few cars i need to do that for as well. The box which looks good there, was actually a lid that was then ripped and stuffed into the box it was shipped in, completely ruining it
