I want to get a light kit for my Mammoth Dump Truck. I was thinking about using part #53370 which apparently is a kit for the Jugg Etc, How would this go with this truck ? or would it be worthwhile getting one of the new units the TLU-01 or whatever its called thats comes with the Skyline and Siliva kits ? Or any other ideas, if they are easy enough, I might do the Super Clod as well I think. Cheers Chris

After waiting for close to 6-7 weeks now, it has finally arrived in my hot little hands. Thanks to a great TC member - Incredible_Serious - who went and picked it up for me, I now have a nice NIB USA 1 sitting all ready to be built. Will post some more pics when I have access to my camera http://www.stfocus.net/photography/v/rccars/KyoshoCars/usa1/ Chris

I had to join this club, picked up a NIB USA-1 off eBay last night. Just have to get it now, thanks to a really nice TC Member its being picked up for me, so if I am really lucky it will eventually make its way to me Can't wait for this, have wanted one ever since I saw them in the shop, still remember the day I went in there too, ( sad isn't it ) Now i just have to wait for the money to clear and hope the seller gets back in contact with me.. Cheers Chris -
Some shops still want $250-$300AU for the Mini Cooper kit, picked up mine for about $199AU, I am happy with the price, I am mainly amazed that it was still on the shelf!. Think it and my new Nismo Z-Tune will have to be built next weekend Chris

OMG, thats insane ! I know what I would rather have, The g/f on the other hand read the thread and would for some odd reason prefer the shoes... dunno why ! Cheers Chris

I picked up a NIB one of these the other day from the Hobby Shop for $299AU, not a to bad a price I think. The hard question, should I build it or leave it NIB ? It wont ever be run more then up and down the lounge room floor, to see how it goes. Any Ideas, or is it worth the $299AU I paid ? Cheers Chris

Changing my name - what option do i select?
rotor replied to Wrc action's topic in Tamiyaclub Rules and Site Usage
From the help section How do I change my Username? Unless theadministrator has configured the site to allow username changes you cannot change you username. Otherwise you can change your username from the Profile page. Back to topNot sure if there is the option to change anymore, as I had a check through the profile and couldnt see one. -
Excellent, I never even knew this was coming out, will be getting a couple of them for sure, was my first real RC car as well. Would be nice if they did re-re the fox, but seems like those days are over :S Chris

Sam here, I know of all the troubles Chris has been having with the site, do it didnt really seem like a thing to bother him with I love adblock so it was easy to do that once i knew what the problem was Thanks for fixing it so quick Chris! Cheers Chris
-
Another option I have just found, is if you run any adblocking software in FF, you can just block out the greydot.gif file and they all line up happily again Cheers Chris
-
Thanks for that Fixed the problem right there, darn that greydot.gif ! Cheers Chris

Ahh there we go, at least im not the only one The refresh trick never works for me, I use the IE window plugin at work, so might just have to set that page to work with that too. Any ideas on if/when this will be fixed for FF ? Cheers Chris

When I use Firefox to check the model listing page, the first column comes up ok, but the rest are all shoved over to the right hand side of the page. Cleared cache etc etc and still no good, yet it works fine with IE, is there something im missing here ? Cheers Chris

I woke up this morning, only to check my email, and find 65 emails from ebay where I have lsited items. This isn't good I thought, so I had a look, 65 pairs of sunglasses were listed and I have bought some pearls from someone in China and left feedback for them already. I emailed eBay about this and then came tow ork and deleted all those lsitings, and have $150 worth of listing fees :S Since then I have received 3 emails from eBay telling me they ahve suspended my account, and removed/cancelled all the listings and credited the fees. So its good to see that they are doing well with fraud, tis nice to know that this didn't go un-noticed. So now all I need to do is peak to them have my suspended account reinstalled, and the last $21 cancelled off my invoice and im set. Good on eBay for once ! Chris

Mammoth is very slow, and noisy... but it is awesome ! The fact the rear tray tips, just tops it all off IMO. Mind you mine just sits on the shelf not doing anything, but they are a ****** to build, but well worth it in the end. Chris -
That is looking great, but yes please leave it overnight else you will ruin it.! Chris

Now that is a killer body, wouldnt mind one for my mini hehe Chris
