  1. I also have had things arrive quicker from OS then in Australia. Not on ebay, but i purchased a dvd from an online store in HK. It arrived in on a thursday, got send on a friday, and arrived to me the next tuesday, thats quicker then it takes to sometimes send a letter a few hundred kms away from one town to another here. I think sometimes even if the parcel has been sent, customs, and then the local post hold things up quite a lot on their end Chris
  2. Definately, get an ESC even if you only get a Tamiya ESC they are not all that expensive, and a million times better then the MSC Chris
  3. Bit of searching is a great thing http://www.tamiyaclub.com/xforum/topic.asp...SearchTerms=tnx There is a thread there for the TNX v Savage, has a lot of opinions on the TNX I have a savage ( although busted atm ) so have no opinion hehe Cheers Chris
  4. Not a stadium truck, but there is also the Kyosho Mini Inferno buggy , 1:16th scale Chris
  5. There is a Leo X as well... or is that the same as the A Tech ? My Mini T doesnt tend to spin out at all, could be the oil shocks though .. ? Chris
  6. These stories are very funny Years ago I had a trainer plane, flew it quite well I did. Well as the instructor took over to land it, he promptly put it into a log on the ground... at least he fixed it for me. I let a mate drive my one of my cars - my HPI Mini RS4 Pro - a few months ago in a huge old disused netball court ( well about 5-6 of them in a row anyway ) so plenty of room not to hit anything. He did well for his first ever time of driving a car, didnt hit a thing... except my TL01 Focus, and the focus flipped a couple of times from that, but as its a runner, i wasnt fussed at all. Only downside was the HPI Mini Pro the front diff part of it broke and it wasnt through anything he did either, and the belt slipped so it turned into a 2wd car, was still fun to drive that way Have only just gotten around to fixing the diff again a few months later. So for the only person I let drive my cars I havent had that bad a time at all Chris
  7. Nice trucks I rekon they would go well with my mammoth Chris
  8. Wonder if I could sell my non turbo Bandit for something near that money Chris
  9. **** ! I would love a NIB for $100 last 2 i have seen on ebay went for $400Au and $800AU, so pretty pricey GL with the sale Chris
  10. I stuck ruber bands on mine, they dont spina nd gets great traction, so that was a bonus. Locked my rear diff and havent had an issue with it at all either Chris
  11. I have decided i really cant be bothered trying to strip the paint on my current one, to much effort !. Does anyone have a NIB bodyset they would like to part with ? Cheers Chris

  14. quote: Originally posted by big_dave i dont know anything about nitro....but in my mind i wouldnt want fuel coming from my exhaust or leaking when idling....i hope someone can help you out......i know what youre goin through id="quote">id="quote"> its not really a huge issues, just a bit oily thats all there will always be a little bit of fuel etc coming out over the car Chris
  15. Learn to drive better no real room to put a reverse module or the reverse gears into it. if you are still running it in, a lot of fuel may come out, but after that start to tune it, and lean it out a bit, it shouldnt spurt out that much fuel at all. chris
  16. From what i have been told it only handles silver can and sport tuned motors chris
  17. well limited in the fact that it mainly steers with the rear wheels when going forwards, and to get any real decent steering from it, you need to grind away a small part of the wheel housing things ( sorry its been a long day cant think of the word i want) to get better steering chris
  18. Good choice there The clod is good, but the steering is limited in stock form, as well as the non oil filled dampers make it a pain. But its a classic truck and a great little runner... even though mine doesnt run anymore lol Chris

  22. I have read that as well. RCCA or something one of the guys tried to put a brushless system into his bruiser he was fixing up. Ended up not being able to do it due to the reverse rotation on it. Spose it would be the same for the trucks Chris
