Hi all here is one of my Tamiya projects that never took off lol it’s a Tamiya TT02 Drift chassis kit, as you can see it’s all new unbuilt still in its plastic bags opened the box placed on shelf and that’s where it say until now. Hi all I have a tto2 drift kit it’s just the chassis version this one https://www.modelsport.co.uk/tamiya-tt-02d-drift-spec-chassis/rc-car-products/380995 it’s been opened but not built all the packs are still sealed etc not sure what price to ask or where’s the best place to sell it, I’m in the UK so thinking maybe eBay ? Or would here be okay ? Advice please

So I got one if these Thought I’d give the whole airbrush game a try so started simple Think I might add some Tamiya decals and lights not sure yet, one thing I do now know is airbrushing isn’t as easy as it looks 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Paints in 👍👍. But I won’t be painting it yet got some others goodies coming I need as well something I’ve toyed with doing for years 🤣🤣

Been a while but things have moved along a little, first up body mounts This is how it sits on the truck and no body pins Then came lots of sanding filling more sanding more filling more primer more sanding you get the idea 🤣🤣 Needs a little more work yet but it’s getting there. Moon windows didn’t workout sadly I’ve not given up on them but can’t find anything that will give me the look I want 🥴

Hi fella mt4 long gone got me a X Maxx and Mt410 to beat on nowadays 🤣🤣👍👍

I intend on lining the inside with styrene and epoxy across the joints to add extra strength so I should be okay. I only lightly bash this anyway it’s more of a fun thing for me I have other rcs to get beat the snot out of 🤣🤣

Cut the last wheel arch and extra sunroof in Think I’ll ditch the moon windows now I have the other roof though as it look to much ?

Little update front view it’s not in its mounting position put your get a rough idea Made a start on gluing it together it’s just roughed out for now still needs some tweaking but again your get the idea Still needs the other wheel arch put in and not sure if I should add another sunroof in there or fill it I kinda like the idea of 2 ? Also found these that might make a nice moon window or 2 Something along these lines with leds in the rear Having a go at making some filler using off cuts and plastic weld not tried this before so wish me luck lastly popped out and picked up some supplies that should come in handy

Good idea 👍 I have my eye on a couple of Baja champs on eBay I believe they run the same arms and dog bones as I need ?

Hit a bit of a blunder last night on my part didn’t quite measure things up right and the front wheels are going to catch the body on full lock 🥴 So solution, do the wide mod but I’ll need 4x 5688 and 3x 9805551 which by the looks aren’t cheap £60 so there going to have to wait and I’ll crack on best I can in the mean time Need to pop out and get some nail files as the wife’s have all gone 🥴🥴 and get some fine filler from Halfords . Hopefully next pics will be of all the bits cut shaped and ready for gluing up 👍👍

So I picked one of these up about a year ago now and it’s been a blast 👍👍 I’ve had great fun building upgrading and bashing it but I’m getting a bit tired of the shell so I’m looking for a replacement. So im thinking of an ABS body seen a few guys use Bruder truck cabs and make a rear bed but that’s been done so I’ve just ordered a couple of lunchbox shells which I’ll cut and graphed together. This is how it’s sits now dirt and all This is what just arrived in the post lastly this is what I’m kinda going for

Hi all I have had a quick look before posting but can’t find what I want. Are there any hop ups for the dog bones and input and output cups for the street rover ? I’ve seen it sharesparts with a few other models but can get conformation on what actually fits I was looking at dt02 parts but then I read tto2b dogbones or cvd’s work but no mention output cups and axles so I’m getting a little confused and lost on what to purchase. Any links would be greatly apperciated many thanks
