  1. Lovely old job. Thanks Mr T.
  2. Hi, Can anyone tell me if the M-03 chassis is adjustable between long and short like the M-06 is? Also, if it’s already been built as a long can it then be shortened? Thanks Bod
  3. Ok so I think I’m done apart from smoke the windows. What do y’all think. I’m pretty happy with it
  4. Starting to look like a lookalike. I had the side graphics made at a local vehicle signwriters.
  5. It’s yellow. Loving the intercooler look.
  6. That very one is now on eBay for sale. What a coincidence. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F233142781528
  7. Thanks. Shame it’s discontinued. That looks a good deal.
  8. https://tamico.de/navi.php?a=62690&lang=eng What chassis would recommend for this shell? The listing doesn’t say what scale the shell is, it just says 257mm chassis. Is that the length in total or the gap between the the wheels. I guess it’s the length. I wish these things were more standard to make it clearer for us. Help please. Bod
  9. Masked using doggy poo bags and a bit of tape just to spray the rear diffuser. Painted Masked around the the front fog light surrounds and took a chance on painting with a brush after getting some advice from @Jason1145. Actually I had to do it twice as the first unmasking revealed a terrible edging finish. Second time I masked it with Frog Tape and unmasking immediately after painting resulting in a much better finish. This weekend will see the main event of colour. Bod
  10. Ah ok, I wasn’t sure which way round they went so just made sure they pointed the same way. I’ll switch them round.
  11. These came today. Properly cool I think. What are your opinions please?
  12. Like you I couldn’t work out how to buy them so I didn’t even look into exchange rates for prices. They are great looking parts for both shells. I’ll have to try and make some time to do some more digging. Thanks for your input though. Bod
  13. I managed to get a second hand TT-01 locally to me and struck a fair deal for both parties. There are quite a few hop ups including a fixed front diff. I stripped, cleaned, re-greased and rebuilt it. Now looking for the most correct wheels that are available with a view to minor modifications to make them correct. The shell fits nicely. I’m going again with the stealth mounts. Here’s the piccys.
  14. I may do a Lexus GS300 next then that will be all my real fleet reproduced in miniature. Has anyone ever used this kit before? I’m just wondering how you’d attach the tail pipes and intercooler to the shell?
  15. The slice in the valance is in picture 6 with the masking tape behind it. I put the tape on the inside and fed superglue into it using the blade of the craft knife. Best I could do really. I just hope it doesn’t show to much after painting.
  16. Ok so I’ve made a start on the GT86 and once again there is a picture just for you @Jason1145. I made my usual little cockup on the front. It seems to be a party trick of mine. 3 shells cut and 3 shells cocked up on the front valance. Never mind, another little bit of character and a very er.... skill-full repair (cough cough)
  17. Mind you, this is a possibility. It works out at £36.08 + P&P. Still a bit over but worth a look if I can’t find a cheap cheap one before I really need it.
  18. Thanks. I’ve had a look there. Most are about £60 and that is really double what I want to pay for a static car that going to be sitting in my shed. My ideal would be a worn, tired and dirty one that I can strip, clean and put back together with the only change maybe being the wheels if they’re not the right look.
  19. Great thanks. Everyday is a school day👍
