AFAIK they are using a wide range of different materials. The chassis on my WT-01 was made out of polycarbonate (I broke it twice). For the arms they've used a more flexible material.

Besides things like hubs and CVDs (GPM) I broke the chassis where the front and back frames attach to the chassis. Twice. A major design flaw IMO. The way the servo is mounted is pathetic. My current monster basher is a modified SMT 10. I am 100% Tamiya free now and I am not looking back!

Not in my book. My Mud Blaster II kept breaking so I moved on...

The fact that people act as if sliced bread was new is hilarious. To me the LMT looks like a hideous version of the SMT10.

A gyro can improve the handling of 2WD cars tremendously. Especially at high speeds.

The Axial SMT10 is a very versatile platform IMHO. The huge amount of aftermarket parts available means that you can really customize the look and feel of this great truck.

I bet it was that stump I didn´t see because it was literally invisible. Yes, I am only going to use the gearbox shell. EDIT: ****, I have discovered further damage. Now I have to also replace both chassis which means I have to take the car fully apart. What a bummer... I am contemplating reinforcing the chassis the same way as the body by using glass fiber tape and Shoe Goo. At least in some crucial spots to keep the added weight low.

A new gearbox is already on its way to me, can´t wait to replace it! Approx. 25 € plus shipping.

Hey guys, I have upgraded my Mud Blaster 2 (WT-01) with the taller shock towers from GPM and some 103mm shocks. Due to the length of the shocks the axles (stock dogbones or GPM CVDs, doesn´t matter) do pop out often. I was using shorter shocks before but didn´t like the stance and handling. So is anybody out there who has a similar setup and knows some slightly longer dogbones or CVDs? Thanks.
