  1. Glad I don't have to deal with this drama here ... pre-ordered in May, announced for Jul 20th, shipped on Jul 21st and received Jul 24th ...
  2. The cage is of soft plastic, I would be more concerned about the bar rubbing off the isolation of the wires in the long term than anything else.
  3. So much hate around some youtubers that got their toy before everyone else ... I may have not seen the same videos ... except CompetitionX whose build videos haven't shown yet, they were far from the flood of copy-cat unboxing videos that is starting now it's available in stores ... RCDriver wasn't "best of" all around, neither SBG who made an entertaining live build and went with an interesting "vintage" intro on his driving video. I think Tamiya USA made a wise choice with these "influencers" (though hard to call them "influencers", they are not peeing a video every day about every new "best of all time ever" toy), two are more in the old "paper" style reviews (which were the influencers of their time), two are out of their confort zone and not by far Tamiya groopies so their point of view is more in line with the impulse buyer.
  4. Nice build. Can't wait to get mine next week. Not found of the stock wheels too, some "star" (like Sand Scorcher, GrassHopper, etc) or plain jane metal ones would have been more accurate for this vintage look ... or maybe at least dechromed and painted in white or gun-metal ... About the wheels, it's stated they are 26mm wide but no info on their diameter neither offset ... that could be usefull to found others beforehand, or print some.
