  1. Heck, I'm a mix of both, i can't sit still very long but at the same time, i do not like being around any where i don't feel right, reading the room is easy for me, i look at it this way if you're yourself and have learned about life to a certain extent then i'll except anybody without judgement, i haven't walked in their shoes as they mine, so i try to take people who they are, makes life interesting. I've conversed with many people i was warned about now they hire me often, i've heard the words mentioned above, i just call it being human. At least here everyone seems rather well i'd like to meet many of you, but some of you just live too darn far away..................
  2. It's called Job security, notice Nothing lasts at least any thing made today unless it's a quality hand tool
  3. Waiting for all the animals and party people to put more in the parks
  4. INNOVATIVE HOBBY Building Card Flex Stock Structures, fun but tedious some buildings easier than others, Bleachers seem to be the most challenging due to all the scoring and folds... show front later when Peeps arrive
  5. Well if it ain't messy You're doing nothing Building chairs and outdoor tables and planters: Paper clips. foam rubber pad for chair height, blue game chips, insulin white caps for planters and pedestal for table tops along with Christmas bulb light sockets for planters also,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, gotta have some detail
  6. Yeah i'm fine works is good, the woman i'm in love with needs time so i just wanted to fill in the missing space to keep me occupied until she tells me different. pushing 57.5 years alot has really happened, kinda reflecting and our hobbies seem to be the very best therapy on God's green earth.
  7. AFX Track 1/64 about 3" wide , I'm just waiting on various items to arrive, I'll be scratch building some things, i don't want to add too much if I ever need the kitchen table back😀
  8. Well I went through what 11 cars I had, AFX and Tyco's, cleaned them up and started this..................................... At Lowes, grass carpet Yes it's hot glued to my kitchen table (small dribbles) was going to use the garage interlocking rubber tiles but found this product. Started the first diorama , what to use for water? Fiber cloth towel, sure no electrocution here. Ordered some Innovative Hobby Flexstock buildings. This will not be as advanced as my 1/32 layout, but still the same thrill. some peeps, cats, dogs, ducks and a lil' of those and a lil' of them and this 4'X6' layout will be the cats meow............ We can go fish'n if you want..... well most cars, yes about, 50 new and used, (Fargin used vintage cost double, triple than new cars) on there way, and some track and some rebuild kits for my older cars should be here at the end of March. Triying to do this quick but nice and easy to disassemble if need be so no lighting planned. This is all because i can not lower my 1/32 scale layout due to over crowding in the garage until i sell my mothers house, it's alright it gave me this idea.
  9. Fargin Radical, nice layout, love the mouse trap type obstacles. I was not planning to get back into my 1/32 slots for a while, since there's no room to lower the track right now, so the other night i went off after looking at what few 1/64ths i have and decided to splurge for a table top size layout for now,. Nice fabrication on your Bull, i was given a Grey Hound Bus that was friction driven and a Snap Tite fire truck, some day i'd like to convert for my 1/32 layout, someday.
  10. Dakratfink Found this build to be one of the funnest being so different and all did you post your build?

It's funny how i miss building right now, but i have to grab hold what's in front of me now. It's good and some sad but nothing i can not endure to make it trough. anyways keep building your A$$es off i'll catch up later.

  15. Without music nothing i do would be possible, Strum till they're numb. Could you possibly be the Jukebox hero?
  16. whom ever has the item in stock. These parts are getting hard to find in stock and back orders could be never anytime soon. So in theory Covid 19 has infected inanimate objects as well.
  17. I'm not a high gloss fan either, plus it depends where it's being placed.
  18. Quite the under taking, some waterproofing and side pontoons and heck you'll have a house boat also That is time i can respect. I had been following this for quite some time when i first viewed it on the "Other Makes" thread. I dig scratch build. Just think what you maybe sparked in some one else's imagination?
  19. CAUTION: LIPO,s, LiFe, NiMH battery heck any battery can be very volatile (yes when done correctly they're safe) Note: keep all batteries in a Ammunition Metal Box with a 1/4" or 1/2" hole drilled into it (a lil' metal screen over the hole to keep the bugs out). You need to read as much info and ask questions and research chargers about chemistry capabilities if you plan on charging different types in the future, most do All in One but need to be specifically programmed input for their levels, there has been a flux of more easily operated chargers to hit the market as of late. HiTec , Spektrum and a few more have gotten easier to use, so cost and your time to study will factor how easily it will be to charge these batteries with ease. There's a lot of info and a lot of charger models and there's well this place. Get a Volt/Ohm meter and or battery cell checker also, i always double check my batteries just for fun and helps keep me in the safe zone. I never rely on any one electronic device. Man made them and my house and vehicles are important to me.
  20. Marvelous simply marvelous! A true Golden Oldie. the music is an absolute kick.
  21. They're just how i like it SILVER & BLACK.
  22. Welcome to 2020, wait till "21" certain items and things are going to either totally disappear or be in such high demand you won't be able to get that item or it's too expensive to even bother with. You can't eat or drink'em
