    Tamiya 58044 mitsubishi pajero

Old school Pajero, great truck! It's fascinating seeing the familiar chassis & parts and their evolution through the models. I was looking through the manual and found it cool seeing the hump battery position & how the body incorporates it, held in place with rubber bands! There were several rubber bands in this model by the look of it.

    Fly Sky FS-GT3B

thanks for the input guys. @DK308 It was from ebay and all those niceties go out the window on a cheap import. Makes a good case for good old fashioned shop bought doesn't it? @Jugglar You are thinking along the same line as me. Although I am very aware I will most probably not succeed & have a pile of bits at the end so I'll wait til the replacement shows up before I 'repair' it

The return spring in my TX steering wheel snapped. Had it 5 months & very little used in that time. Not dropped or damaged. Guess that’s the perils of cheap kit I’ve got so many receivers for this I’ve just ordered another one. Might need a few spare. I could try a repair when the new one arrives. Anyone wlse had issues with these?

Tamiya Wheelie cars for a 3yr old child?

Look forward to seeing your pumpkin built. maybe it’s possible to measure battery discharge rate without complicated equipment? Too technical for me though! Do ESC have a battery type setting? The kids enjoyed chasing & being chased by the RC as much as they did driving it.

Tamiya Wheelie cars for a 3yr old child?

That’ll be fun! Couple of 3 year olds and a 2 y/o had heaps of fun with my pink CW-01 Unimog on the beach over Easter. I am impressed with the durability of it and the handling improvement of the AMPro wide heavy duty front suspension arms. A 5000 mAh nimh battery lasted a very long time.

So, What Have You Done Today?

It’s been a good day for RC. Went through a (almost 1 hour) full charge at the beach with jumps and much admiration from onlookers during the CW-01 Unimogs maiden voyage. Even Batman had a go... https://flic.kr/p/2esuQhq Then this evening I built a Lunchbox Oh Happy day! ( Complete 180 on my shell then chassis approach ) https://flic.kr/p/2ftQGDy

    The "postman Brought Me" Thread

@ThunderDragonCy put up the excellent thread about blockhead motors which inspired me for my next build. Then I found some stickers and I couldn’t resist... Spelling mistake (under the turtle) adds character Next build will be a Lunchbox in the Tamiya red white and blue with some cool Blockhead inspiration
