Clod gets my vote. You’re fleet are predominantly vintage, the Clod is legend. I’ve had a lot of fun with my Heavy Dump Truck but I got my Clod 1st.

there’s more wheel options available for hex than the blackfoot/hornet style hubs. Afaik there isn’t an axle to do a conversion on a bush devil/ super blackfoot

Googled 3S lipo for Tamiya & this one came up:

looks same size.

Down side it’s soft & the position isn’t ideal on the chassis. Mines not exploded yet

@Badcrumble standard silver cans, it’s my 7 year old sons runner & 3S is plenty for park bashing, 2S feels slow now in a big open space.

I can confirm, 3S with 540’s via the HW880 works well on my Twin Detonator 👍

[How bad does FOMO grip you?]

Tamiya capitalise on fomo & I was along for the ride for a while I stockpiled anything that was going…. Limited Editions, Anniversary Editions, discontinued this & that, back orders, pre-orders etc. etc.. Now I’ve still got 50% the collection left but minus the stuff I probably never would’ve built, like the 2x Watanabe Hornets for example.

 

 

[eBay Selling Tips?]

Get a suitable box before selling & pack it up ready to ship right after photos. Choose the title/ description carefully & use all the available characters. Decide if you’re ok with ‘collection available’ or turn it off. Use the preview advert to double check before going live. Pick the day & time you list it to suit you and the buyers eg. More people online at 9pm Sunday than 9am Monday although Tamiya on ebay is often international via an ebay global hub. 10 day listing is better than 7. Watch out for scammers!
