  1. Finally a proper set of rally lights... not like the terrible ones on the Beetle... I really like this car, hope i can snag one
  2. Yeah i meant the stock savers...lol , i will have to grab a ho-torque one for my beetle
  3. It says its for tractor trucks but could this be a replacement for the terrible grey ones? It's supposed to be a new release but i am not sure.
  4. Yeah i ran mine for the first time yesterday and it love it, it's faster than my YZ2 but easier to handle which i find odd...lol I may not be able to part with it
  5. That's pretty much what my XB2 looks like on carpet atm cause the tires are shot...lol. Car looks like a lot of fun
  6. Yeah thats pretty much identical i think the blades might be different if not ill grab a olfa knife to use mine...lol
  7. They do indeed, sadly the design blades are much smaller than the Tamiya hobby ones i bought for replacements so now i need the Tamiya hobby knife for them...lol Can anyone tell me the correct knife to get for these:
  8. Really wish the battery holder wasn't so low, it detracts from a beautiful kit. You did a great job with this one
  9. Would love this one but finding just the shell in the US has been problematic I am excited to see what the new one is, as i ordered a XV-01 direct from Tamiya
  10. LOL i noticed it as i took a picture and was like, well that's foreboding!
  11. That came out brilliant, much cooler than a flat window I hear yogi knows how to vac form
  12. Thanks speedy, ill have a look at that site. So much to learn lol Thanks, i'll look into it, 7 years is a good track record
  13. Finally got my Tamiya design knife from Japan.
  14. Ok folks i am ready to buy a airbrush but i have 0 idea of what to get. I don't wanna drop a ton of money but i don't want junk. I am thinking around $150 ish Single or Double? Brand? Features i should look for? I have a small compressor (not a airbrush one but a 2.5g i think) but if anyone can recommend one more suited i can add it for later Is the Tamiya one available and is it pricey? I know it's a lot of personal preference but I find i make better decisions when i have multiple points of info Thanks!
  15. If you can handle painting it with a iarbrush or if they are white 3d printed nylon you can paint them with XF56 Flat Metal https://www.amazon.com/Tamiya-Acrylic-XF56-Flat-Metal/dp/B0006O52SK
  16. These look amazing, how long before we can order these? (4x 26mm +0 offset for me please :D)
  17. Started on the lens painting, orange went on nice, red is a pain as usual, Using the paint retarder helps, but im gonna need a few coats more to really get good coverage. :)
  18. Ha! look at it go! I have a eavil thought of dropping a brushless in mine and just seeing what happens once my new tires are in. Oh and i should have it painted this week, picking up the materials for my booth today
  19. @Fabia130vRS Will do, I am not sure how expensive it would be to ship to Croatia but we will see. I have a few things to sort out on it and i need to run it to decide which buggy i want to keep
  20. Good to know Joinathin \ I know my LHS does a once a year vintage/re re Tamiya race and a TT02 Truck race but ill have to see about the road racing which they do every Sunday. Without the Exotek wouldn't the chassis flex be a issue on the 07 Pro? I wish i had a grand to just dive head first into one of the high end chassis, then sort it out from there...lol.
  21. Well... I put my Arrma Granite BLX 3S up for sale and ended up with a trade for another buggy...lol Meet my new to me Xray XB2 : Has slipper eliminator, Fantom 13.5 motor, Hobbywing 120A esc, Savox servo and came with 3 batteries, just need to add a receiver and clean up the wiring. (i swear i will sell one of these for a Tamiya kit...lol) Next up i did the second from blinker on the Lunchbox grill. will paint tomorrow as i forgot to buy thinner...lol
  22. Jon, if i may call you that? I will ask on Tuesday when i go there, and let you know the details. That all Tamiya race would be great!
  23. YEah i agree the o-rings should solve the issue. When i converted my mf-01x to the long span suspension there were no o-rings used because the provided universals took up the space.
