  7. Hi Guys, just had a little time and thought i would pop over here to see whats happening, We are really fortunate to get Robin Hood Raceway as our regular meet, two tracks, electric, toilets and running water puts it in a the premier catagory to me, but it started quiet and we've steadily built it up and gained numbers. Now some of our members came far and wide for just a fun relaxing days running, nothing serious, but great to see so many vintage rc's running around together. Check us out on Facebook under Tamiya Junkies.

  18. Hi everyone, my steering works fine, but doesn't have much lock, is this normal or is it just mine, ive tried altering the end points but doesn't help much.

  21. Hi all, been awhile since ive been on here, Formally Clumbermeets, then with the IconicRc lads. Ive been arranging track meets around south yorkshire since late last year, just relaxed meets, nothing serious just good fun, running modern (largest would be short course) and my favourite vintage buggies. We have a growing community on our Facebook group, Tamiya Junkies, so feel free to head over and join and maybe come along to a meet or two. Our normal haunt is a monthly meet at Robin Hood Raceway at Blyth, we've also had a meet at A1 racing and presently looking further away.
  22. I have the diff upgrade, but to be fair i preferred it stock, its never going to be a race buggy, i also fitted the alloy chassis from radshape,Shock wise i fitted the RcChannel coil over units, they are alot better and mine have not leaked yet. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Buggy-Champ-Sand-Scorcher-shock-set-with-spring-and-metal-join-ball/152928164717?hash=item239b3a9b6d:g:pWQAAOSwgmJX0uq9
  23. I have an original blackfoot and re-re monster beetle so a re-re mud blaster would be nice, but i like quirky so Falcon and striker for me.
  24. Hi, never really gave the motor much thought, might swap motor with a 10.5t or 8.5t from one of my other cars. not really after silly speed, just less maintenance and a little more speed. Got plenty of metal geared servo's, really looking to the build, should be good fun at the track.
