Had one of these a few years back in a pretty poor state, but still loved it, i do keep looking on ebay for another one. Cracking job.

Does the slipper come as an extra?, can't say ive seen one before on this buggy.

What voltage have been supplying to your receiver, for a while i killed a few receivers before i realised that they had a max voltage of 6v and i was using tamiya esc's that supply battery voltage to the receiver.

Never gave these much thought, after all as a kid there was only tamiya in my eye's and sure when i saw them re-re these i thought someone else jumping on the band wagon. But then i saw a few at our latest buggy meet and wow don't they look sweat and drive really well, so now im looking buying one as a runner.

When i first went over to lipo, best thing i ever did, i used the inexpensive lipo alarms off ebay for a few pounds. I then bought some cheap hobbyking esc's http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__32025__HobbyKing_X_Car_45A_Brushed_Car_ESC.html, i thought they would be rubbish, but i cant believe it but there still holding out just fine, and with lipo cutoff and bec, you really can't go wrong. The remaining cars i used lipo cut off's, the hobbywing ones, really cheap and worked a treat. I have recently steadily moved over to mtroniks esc's, waterproof, lipo cut off and cheap as chips.

Holmsey, glad you enjoyed it, you had a great collection and seeing a blackfoot leaping over the ramps was a rear treat, will sort mine for the next meet.

Hopefully not, will check clumber park's site next month to check there's nothing going on.

Absolutely cracking meet today everyone, the odd short shower didn't stop the fun, pictures and video now being edited, i know a few of use took some so should be maybe three or more slideshows to come, thanks to everyone that turned up. Regards Mark

If i wanted to fit some different rear tyres on the original yellow wheels, could anyone suggest some that are a direct fit.

Is that gold paint mate, not your normal colour lol.
