  4. Your kinda stuck really, where would we be as collectors without it. I know what your saying, when its something inexpensive you hardly notice the fee's, but sell something of value and watch the cost add up.
  5. Cool looking forward to this, hope the weather is kind to us.

  16. Just a quick reminder to anyone interested, that our next meet at clumber park will be on the 27th October and there will be lots more vintage racing with the Iconic Rc group, looks like we will be building a track. i will bring the gazebo, kettle and gas stove for cuppa's for everyone.
  17. I can say it jumps well lol Jump to around 6 minutes.
  18. Nice one J, looking forward to the video.
  19. This sounds a great idea, im sure it will give you a major headache getting it going, but i hope you pull it off, I think you might end up having it on either private land or at an RC club. I don't have an original scorcher but i do own a re-re, how about a separate class for re-re's.
  20. Ive seen many video's of lipo's exploding, well going up in flames anyways, and then you find out that they've charged them wrongly to demonstrate what happens when they go boooooom. I think if there looked after and stored and charged correctly, there's nothing to worry about.
  21. Yeh i couldn't believe the guy let us do it, but lets face it, the landfreeder was never going to make it lol.
  22. Had a little truck and buggy meet at clumber park today.
  23. Tricky one this, these don't come up new built very often, so hard to gauge asking price.
  24. Tricky one this, i was looking an age for the same thing, a stick type multi memory 2.4ghz setup, but i ended up buying a hobbyking wheel type as at the time they were both hard to come by and expensive, it seems like everyone uses the wheel type so choice is not huge, this setup is the best affordable unit i can find, http://www.modelsport.co.uk/core-rc-code-2.4ghz-3-channel-fhss-lcd-stick-combo/rc-car-products/38217 and although the receivers are around £22 at modelsport, i think you will find these are the same http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=12187 I have this setup http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=12181 Let us know how you get on bud. Regards Mark
  25. If anyone has got a blackfoot, monster beetle or other tamiya monster truck, bring them along to the next meet with the rest of your collection, would be great to get some together for a run.
